So turns out yesterday wasn't my record trade on NQ to date - this is. 112 points 🔥 Proud of myself for holding for longer targets, something I have told myself I want to work on this year. If you told me when I first started trading that I'd be able to take trades like this I would've laughed. Also yes entry was late, wasn't at my laptop in time for my initial sell entry signal that printed, but got filled at the same price with a sellstop order.

London session today $NQ provided a clean example of how I use confluence. Most traders don’t lose from bad entries. They lose because they never pick a side. Probability Map leaned bearish. My new indicator (still in progress) also pointed lower. That’s not a signal. That’s alignment. And alignment gives you one thing most traders don’t have: clarity. So my plan was simple: Ignore longs. Stop looking for reversals. Wait for price to accept lower and join shorts. No guessing tops. No forcing trades. No fighting the session bias. But this wasn’t an A+ textbook setup. So I sized down. Because risk management always comes before potential profit. Did I need confirmation? Yes. But I only looked for confirmation in ONE direction. That changes everything. Because the real edge isn’t entry precision… it’s eliminating the wrong side before you even trade. Most traders keep both scenarios open and end up executing neither properly. That’s where they bleed. Confluence doesn’t tell you when to trade. It tells you what to ignore. And that’s where consistency starts. Do you filter one side… or still trade both? #NQ #FuturesTrading
