sam has been an advisor in my company over the last 3 years, not because he had any self interest, but because he wanted to help support the our mission of “supporting ambitious builders who want to make the world a better place”. with great power comes great responsibility. negative comments on his post do not understand the full picture and that results in people actually attacking someone trying to help so many people. throughout this time, while running one of the fastest growing companies in the world, he has taken time out of his day to answer my “dumb questions” and to give his time to come speak to a bunch of young builders in our program. most people in his position have too many other important people to keep up with that they would not even think to spend the time helping others “so far below them”. i am one case and there are 100s more where sam is helping others. people that only see the headlines make sam out to be a villain, but the truth is, he is a person with the most wonderful intentions for humanity and people that actually know and interact with him see that clearly! he is in a hard position. with massive power, he has to make decisions that will have both positive and negative outcomes. it is clear to me that he is optimizing for the most positive outcomes for humanity, i hope others will start to see the same. the world could use a little less hate, we don’t need more families being attacked!!
