New update on this:
The clicks are spiking to 11,000 a day!

Taleb Kabbara@TalebKabbara
Just started a new SEO test. Changed permalinks to numeric for one of my test sites. The reason I did this is because I'm seeing excellent growth on one of the sites I'm auditing:

@PXOOO1O1S1O @glenngabe Only thing that matters outside of a manual action.
English

@glenngabe Most of the sites I'm following are also having a drop in visits. The sites that stay afloat are the very famous ones full of bought and unbought links

Heads-up: There's been a lot of chatter about crazy swings in rankings AFTER the August core update. I am now picking up some wild reversals, surges, and drops post-August core update. And a lot of that seems tied to the tremors I reported on 8/24 into 8/25. E.g. Some sites that surged heavily with the tremors around 8/24 started dropping back down around 9/6 into 9/7 (after the core update completed). Here are some examples. This is across verticals btw.

@jarredsumner You thought you were the first to think of this?
There be dragons down this path. Go look at prior research before you continue stepping on rakes.

The exact API we ended up with is uglier than I’d like, but this is something where if we see enough usage of this rough, experimental version then it justifies us investing more time into making it better

In the next version of Bun
You can compile and run C in JavaScript

cursed idea: what if we let you write C in Bun

I will never stop cloaking
Cloaking makes you getting rid of 99% of the problems you might face as an affiliate with websites
Imprint, contact, privacy, terms, cookie consent, copyrights, trademarks, people not liking your content
There's so much to take care of, so much to check, so much you can do wrong when running a website
But as an affiliate you only want the traffic, you want that click from Google
I only want to focus on the traffic
Nothing more, nothing less
That's what you do for your partner, you send him that traffic
You don't want to convince visitors buying
That's your partner's job
He has the optimized landing page, he makes the sale for both of you
That's where he shines
Traffic is where YOU shine

@bryan_johnson Reputations for sale everywhere.
It's "just" business, right?

The collapse of Athletic Greens reveals the broken and even harmful nature of influencer marketing.
Influencers build trust with their followers and then, with a little sleight of hand, leverage that trust for personal financial gain. It's a misaligned relationship.
Is it a trusted friendship, or is the follower the actual product? Is the recommendation made because the product is high quality and fairly priced, or because it pays the highest commissions? How is the follower to know?
These blurred lines invite questionable conduct and erode trust between people, leaving us all trusting each other less, which is detrimental to society.
The problem isn't people working to make money; the issue lies in the ambiguity and lack of transparency.
The good news is that Athletic Greens' influencer-driven money-making scheme has been exposed, becoming a cautionary tale, much like Theranos, helping us identify similar schemes earlier on.

@RealJakeBroe Outside of CFD type simulations when was the last time a nuclear warhead was detonated?
English

If Russia uses a nuclear weapon against a NATO country, then this is what will happen to Russia in response.
About 45 million Russians will be vaporized in the first hour. Not much of a life remaining for the other 100 million.
Maybe the people of Russia should stop supporting Putin and deescalate the conflict?

Google doesn't seem to want people to know where they're uploading their #USvGoogle trial exhibits. So, here you go: blog.google/competition/me…
I'll work on getting them organized on our site over the coming days.
English

@blubeeme You haven't seen our next gen release, which comes on Monday and we've acquired 2 other AI startups too 😅
There are a lot of competitors, most just rip off for credits, there is a clear moat coming though! And the next gen models won't solve the research or prompting issues.
English

@Charles_SEO Do you think 30 o1 calls per week is reasonable?
What happens when they reduce the context window on the top tier models, increase charge your users for API access?
Your product has no moat. Devin and Cursor also, just a heads up.
I'm sure your devs aren't cheap.
English

@blubeeme We don't charge credits, you just input your API key - So it doesn't affect us if they increase, and so far, they have decreased every couple of months so it's become cheaper for our clients and more expensive to use other tools.
English

@TheFigen_ First get super rich, then waste that money pretending to live in a bygone era.
English

@ConnorShowler Wouldn't think this would get so much attention. People really don't understand the internet, yikes.
