Grateful and humbled to share that I matched prelim at the amazing @USFsurgery. This journey wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering support of my parents, sister, and the incredible strength of immigrants and women who inspire me everyday. #Match2025 #GenSurgMatch2025 #img

@dr_asadnaveed Hello there, can you please send me the link. Thank you so much for your hard work.

@SurgeryBro It’s giving *cringey medical show* vibe.

@DrSiyabMD @irene10306680 He took the time to let the imgs know what can and cannot work in their favor. He took the time being a physician, a PD, leading prep courses, etc. He cared.
And reasonably he knows more on how to act like a PD more than non-PDs.
English

@bluberry_fields @irene10306680 There is no misconception. You’re a PD and you should act like one and don’t be a douchebag. There is a better way of getting your point across. Plus what he did is a violation of rules.
English

@irene10306680 @DrSiyabMD This is the misconception we are having. Fischer himself stated he has residents from AIIMS i.e. he is still accepting students from these institutions as are other programs. But his point was simply that these transcripts could carry more weight if restructured.
English

@bluberry_fields @DrSiyabMD I think it’s still unfortunate for applicants from these schools. They enter the cycle knowing their school has been put on blast and wondering if they’re assumed to be the student in the example. Or worse they are the student and know what is thought of their school/grades.
