Researchers have identified a consistent chemical difference in the brains of people with anxiety disorders: significantly lower levels of choline-containing compounds. A groundbreaking 2025 meta-analysis by UC Davis Health scientists revealed this biological marker through proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-MRS) data. The study found an average 8% reduction in total choline (tCho) in the prefrontal cortex, a key region for emotional regulation, decision-making, and cognitive control, as well as across broader cortical areas. Analyzing 25 datasets involving 370 individuals with anxiety disorders (including generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and social anxiety disorder) and 342 healthy controls, the researchers documented this reduction as a transdiagnostic feature consistent across different anxiety conditions. This represents the first meta-analysis to identify a reliable chemical pattern in the brains of people with anxiety, pointing to measurable neurochemical alterations rather than purely psychological factors. Choline, an essential nutrient obtained from foods such as eggs, salmon, and soybeans, plays a vital role in brain cell membrane integrity and neurotransmitter synthesis. The authors suggest that heightened arousal and chronic stress in anxiety disorders may increase choline demand, depleting levels faster than dietary intake can replenish them and potentially impairing the brain’s ability to regulate the fight-or-flight response. While the findings open promising avenues for nutritional interventions, experts stress that dietary or supplemental approaches should complement, not replace, established treatments. Lime CEO @wayneting says the average Lime vehicle generates $7.50/day in revenue with 50%+ cash margins. “Because we're able to get that level of margins, we pay back our vehicles in less than a year.” Lime IPO'd earlier this month, raising $167M. From his appearance on the show last week.

When tokens go down 90% by the end of the year and then another 90% next year, everyone's opinions on artificial general intelligence and superintelligence are going to change radically I'm currently on an unlimited GLM 5.2 bittensor subnet and I can tell you your behavior changes radically when token prices plummet

BREAKING: CVC used AI to replace investment bankers in a sales process for its portfolio company, Skroutz, earlier this year. Prospective buyers got a link to an AI-powered data portal that acted like the investment memo, while a chatbot “analyst” answered questions on financials and diligence.

There is no facility that distributes these productivity gains to employees. Unions for white collar workers dont exist. Collective bargaining worked for Samsung and SK hynix bonuses. The same cannot be said for accountants at EY and Delloitte. The only employees who benefit from AI were tech workers who received equity comp RSUs from AI companies. BUT now these very companies have began to replace them with smaller teams paired with AI. Meta, Google, Amazon get leaner in headcount with the very tech their employees help improve.... Digging their own grave.

@bluepartyhat History says productivity gains create new industries, more optionality, and a higher quality of life. AI might be the exception but that shouldn’t be assumed.

AI could unleash the greatest economic expansion in modern history. High-paying jobs explode. Those who’ve had the least stand to gain the most. Crazy that some people would be disappointed if that’s how this plays out.

bluepartyhat Quick breakdown: **BiCS FLASH**: Kioxia’s 3D NAND flash memory brand. BiCS = **Bit Cost Scalable** — their vertical stacking tech that packs way more cells per chip to lower cost per GB. **10th-gen (332-layer)**: Latest generation. 332 vertical layers of memory cells (big jump in density/capacity vs prior gens). Kioxia just started sampling 1Tb TLC chips with this. **CMOS**: **Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor**. The control/peripheral circuitry that handles reading, writing, and managing the memory cells. **CBA**: **CMOS directly Bonded to Array**. Game-changing architecture (used since gen 8). CMOS circuits made on a separate wafer, then precisely bonded to the memory array wafer. Allows better optimization of both parts → higher performance, density, lower power per bit, and efficiency. Exactly why it helps margins and AI-era needs.

TLDR: Kioxia $KXIAY and SanDisk $SNDK just started production of 10th-gen BiCS FLASH (332-layer) at the new K2 fab in Kitakami. CBA architecture = higher performance, higher capacity, lower power per bit. It directly lowers cost per GB, which is Kioxia's core margin lever right now. K2 is also built for AI-era scale: earthquake-resistant design, AI-optimized manufacturing, extra clean room space reserved for future capacity. Also, they previously announced that JV with SanDisk is extended through Dec 2034.
