The Volpe stuff has gone way, way too far. He’s a 25 year old who is trying to be the starting SS for the Yankees. It’s one of the toughest jobs in sports. No one person should pick Maine’s nominee for Senate - least of all Graham Platner. If he or his “team” had a shred of decency he would have already withdrawn. But it is obvious they don’t. There should be both a short and long term cost for this for each of them.

@Amy_Siskind There are TWO groups that Trump needs desperately, his MAGA base to worship blindly and the Dems progressive base to be his foil and give us candidates that can’t win.

I get it that some of you are upset that Platner will not be our candidate in Maine, and all the chaos that ensues, but trust me it is a blessing in disguise. He was going to lose this race. We are also going to lose in Michigan if we don’t get smart!
