@Dixit__Nikhil The root cause is that parents tend to compare their child with others. When they see another child progressing quickly or gaining a rating boost in a tournament, they receive unsolicited advice from others and then bring those concerns back to their child’s coach.

I am going to discontinue one student's classes because their parents are too much involved and giving me suggestions. 90% of the time parents are the reason kids stop playing chess.
