@ChrisMartin1961 Just another distraction to keep the new generations from focusing on the real problem, Rich v. Poor. Boomers had it better when workers were making $20,000/year and CEOs $50,000/year and very few people had company stock. Today workers make $70,000/year while CEOs make $10 m.

@Stokedfight AD only loses if he is overconfident and underestimated his opponent. If he gives GGG the time and the space, it will be lights out.

@Mr_Husky1 Thank him for showing his true colors, before you married him, and move on without him.

I’m about to get married, and my fiancé knows I have an inheritance that was left to me by my grandparents. It’s in my name only, and I’ve been saving it for years. Now he’s saying that before we get married, I should put the entire inheritance into a joint account so we can “start fresh together,” or he doesn’t think we should go through with the wedding. I’m 36 already and this is something my family worked hard to leave me. I’m torn between wanting to build a life together and feeling like I’m being pressured to give up something important to me. What do you think I should do?

@Mr_Husky1 Spouses often but undue pressure on a beneficiary to share in a trust. It is why many trusts do not allow a beneficiary to share assets with their spouse, except at death, or allow sharing, but also specifically say that no spouse can compel sharing.

@PaulVallas Now come on Paul. She was neither black nor was she shot while shooting at police officers. That would spur a protest.

It’s not surprising in the least to see the headline “Wrong Place Wrong Time” describing the murder of a young college student.
It’s a complete disgrace, but this is how Chicago media works to maintain a political narrative even to the point of blaming the victim.
This is the same media which has ignored 455 school-age children shot, 107 killed and 25 of whom were 12 years or younger in the last 2 years.

@SonOfAristotle @unlimited_ls Not if you weigh more than the bike like AR.
English

@unlimited_ls If you can't bring your motorcycle to a safe stop after seeing in broad daylight someone moving in front of you,
YOU'RE RIDING TOO FAST.
You only proved the neighbor's point.

🚨NEW: Video shows how the fight started between Alan Ritchson and his neighbor
The neighbor stepped directly in front of the bike, causing Ritchson to flip over the handlebars
The neighbor previously said he told the actor to “slow it down.”
"I did push him because he was coming towards me on his, on his bike."
"He did it again for a second time. I pushed him a second time, and I think the second time he got off his bike and kicked the crap outta me."

@jackunheard I guess the votes of men and women serving overseas in the armed forces won't count.
English

@BigRyan @barkmeta @AOC @SenSanders @LeaderJohnThune @SenSchumer Why? The DOJ won't prosecute and Trump will just pardon them.
English

@barkmeta Hey @aoc @SenSanders @LeaderJohnThune @SenSchumer and Congress...
See above.
WTF.
Solve it. Don't complain. Don't pointing out. Put the feet to the fire with investigative journalists and cyber detective...hell, back-channel Anonymous or a NSA hero.
AMERICA DESERVES BETTER.

Let me explain what just happened 👇
5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil.
5 minutes…
These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the entire market. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch.
There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made.
Someone in that room picked up a phone.
And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars.
American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it.
This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions.
This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight.
You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question.
Nobody will be investigated. Nobody will be charged. By tomorrow this will be buried under the next satisfying headline. Just like last time. And the time before that.
The game is rigged. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore…

BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market. In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold. These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time. The trader seemingly made huge gains. Unusual.
English

@mcrichierich @ChicagoContrar1 @thewatch42 Definitely the Dems fault, but still not rare or unusual enough to draw an extraordinary protest by those same Dems. Now, if an armed black guy had been shot by the CPD while firing at them, that would draw a protest.

@PaulVallas @Hamer187 Riding the CTA has become more dangerous than walking down the street in Baghdad. It's also time to let CCL holders carry on the CTA.

@wonderwomantoo5 @PamelaHensley22 Music is not lacking in great bands today, it is lacking in radio stations that will play them. Most stations are owned by one of the two radio monopolies, and they greatly restrict what gets on the air today. In the 70-80s radio was dominated by independently owned stations.
English

@PamelaHensley22 Music also lacks soul today. There’s no comparison between musicians like Collins and today’s class of mumbling morons.

@DreamAIPro @nicksortor @TechzillaDirk Casualities are defined as someone killed or injured in an event.
English

@nicksortor @TechzillaDirk So it's casualties or injuries? Mass casualties is not the same as injuries.

My wife and I were talking the other day about potential career options for my 15 yrs old daughter who really struggles in school and is likely not college bound/material.
For guys it’s easy…
Don’t want to go to college, pick a trade or figure something else out such as a police officer, firefighter etc.
It’s not as easy for girls.
I think she would do well in sales since she is attractive, has the personality and is extremely social (spends hours everyday talking on the phone to all her friends).
For parents with daughters who aren’t on the college path…what are some real, high-income career options you’ve seen work?

@_sn_n For years Dem Senators voted for farm subsidies, like Payment in Kind, despite knowing most farmers were Republicans. After the farmers began supporting King Trump, the Dems no longer care if Trump screws them over. They made their bed, now it's time to lie in it.

@slayer_agolf The 40% still shocks me. It is hard to find someone worse at their job than Trump has been in the last year, yet 40% don't care.
