@ShellHunt244839 @KatyKray73 Nope incorrect decommisioning cost will be in there contracts, ppl have woken up to that game. But your right to highlight the lack of decommissioning when it comes to coal. PUT a coal mine in care & maintains and leave the hole. That is what really happens. Care & Maintance🤫

@bmc2491 @KatyKray73 Not really when they have to factor in the taxes. Whatever they are getting paid will not cover the decommissioning costs they will face

Well said, Farmer Dave! The world has gone completely mad, none of it makes sense anymore. The only sane move left is to scrap this Net Zero nonsense and remove the parties that are actively supporting this nightmare.👇🏽🇦🇺

@KatyKray73 Nope, companies want to make money, coal power generation is expensive. Not enough margin in it. Companies won’t invest in coal because they know it expensive and they can’t compete with new tec. It’s just not profitable. Companies want to make money, no money in coal

Is Pauline Hanson a breath of fresh airs that all Australians have been dying for? No wonder over 100% of Aussies want her as Prime Minister calling the shots. Women want to be LIKE her and men want to be WITH her. Yes or No? HAVE YOUR SAY. Discuss🇦🇺👇🏻 #auspol #paulinehanson

@KatyKray73 You’re talking coal, coal is expensive and adds to the cost of power. Private investment has walked away from coal, not because of govs or because of public opinion, but because it’s not economic.

@KatyKray73 No coal as a commodity and it’s expensive. Renewables are also a commodity and it’s cheaper. But it great to see you accept coal is more expensive. Question are you saying protests should shape gov policy, if that’s the case I agree. But that means you need to accept protests

@bmc2491 Coal remains a higher cost because the government refuse to upgrade the plants and invest in that sector. Farmers that accept renewable on their land that’s Ok, that’s their choice, whereas there’s petition upon petition of farmers that are furious with this rollout.

@KatyKray73 @RepublicofThink Katy is that true? Are you considering the dismantling of old power stations, building of new ones, your love, will nuclear sites sit in the same spots? Will farmers be happy with water been redirected to power plants. Most farmers are happy with the compromise & new income

@RepublicofThink Transmission lines exist for all sources. The issue is intermittent ‘green energy’ requiring far more of them and backup gas/coal plants. 🙄

At this rate, if you are under 30 chances are: You'll never buy a house. You'll never own a business. You'll never raise a family. You'll never prosper. You will live in share homes, and eat instant noodles, scrolling Tik Tok earning minimum wage. Things must change.

20 years ago, Peter Costello delivered a budget that boasted no debt, a cash surplus, big tax cuts, and investment in a future fund. There was no interest bill, and tax rates were falling fast because we were debt free. This year, Jim Chalmers delivered a budget that boasted a gross debt of >$1 trillion, a $42.1b deficit, CGT, negative gearing and discretionary trust tax increases, plus deficits of $179.5b for the forward estimates. Interest on debt is the fastest growing major payment in the budget. From surpluses and tax cuts to trillion-dollar debt and entrenched deficits. How fast we’ve fallen.

Anthony Albanese is in Perth today. This is his 40th trip to Perth since becoming PM with 32% of the vote. By my calculations, that amounts to 2,500 tonnes of A1 aviation fuel. Mind you, he has flown over Alice Springs 80 times, yet he has spent a measly four hours on the ground there. Pathetic stuff.

@Ausbobsmit At last you have something right. He does not own a business, he’s not there just for business, he’s in Perth to represent Australians. Unlike you & Pauline he’s not in one miner’s pocket doing her will vs the Australian good

Why have the polls turned against Albanese? Australians have finally worked out what a serial liar he is. If you voted Labor, reap what you’ve sown, the home you once lived in could soon be your car. Labor created this mess. 😡👇🏽

@KatyKray73 I reckon he'll eventually lose in a massive land slide, they did the same last time with their climate change lies and lunacy when Abbott defeated Gillard in a landslide where Rudd had just returned as leader, I just hope it's One Nation who does it the left will lose their shit
