Yesterday- I convened a meeting w/my friends at Oakland Schools & advocates from K-12 Alliance on the importance of fully-funding the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Our country cannot afford another 50 years of leaving this mandate unfunded.

Drug overdoses rose to a historic high last year, with nearly 108,000 people dying from drug overdoses. Almost 71,000 of those deaths can be attributed to Fentanyl, a deadly, illegal drug that's often mixed into other drugs.
