With Story out, the Red Sox could move Marcelo Mayer to shortstop or start Andruw Monasterio there. The Red Sox have wanted Mayer to focus primarily on second base this season. The team has made it clear multiple times that it would not use Mayer at shortstop when Story had a day off. Perhaps that changes with Story sidelined due to an injury.

@teachthemx3 Parents get an email from admin for any unscheduled evacuation of the building. But not once have I gotten an email when my boys had to evacuate or lockdown due to violent students. THAT is the difference - parent notification creates action.

The students pulled the fire alarm 3 times yesterday, so now the district has brought in extra administrators because we have to “protect the learning environment.” That's wonderful. Except where was the concern for the learning environment when the students flip desks and cuss out their teachers? Instead of consequences, those students are escorted to the cool down room and given a snack.
