@BMW_UK my brand new X5 failed at 5,287 miles whilst charging, on my son’s birthday. @DickLovett (Bristol) aware for days. No recovery. No courtesy car. No resolution. Now an expensive decoration on my driveway. Is this how BMW treats you after taking your money? #BMW #BMWX5

Still awaiting a response from @BMW_UK. My 2019 BMW X1 (42K miles) has been off the road for over a month due to an AdBlue part delay. No goodwill support offered so far. Experiences like this make you think brands offering 7 years warranties and better customer support. #BMW

Disappointed with @BMW_UK service. My 2019 BMW X1 (42K miles) has been off the road for over a month due to AdBlue tank failure. Part is on back order, no goodwill support offered. Expected better from a premium brand. Can someone review this? #BMW #CustomerService

@BMW_UK so the MyDrive app stops working, random message saying forgotten your password, I haven’t. And cannot log in. Contact live chat and no solution. It’s supposedly a server side issue but no resolution. Not very good is it!?!

@LOOKatMyMX5 Hi, thanks for your inquiry. The BMW i3 is no longer available as a new vehicle - production for this model ended in summer 2022. The small petrol engine for emergencies, known as the Range Extender (REx), was only available on earlier model.

The saga continues @BMW_UK after sending evidence that I had notified BMW of the defect, no response after 10 days, they claim that the attachment didn’t come through (even though I called after sending the email and the BMW person confirmed receipt) who am I dealing with here?!

@deandunham @scott_expert @lbc I have filed this with the Motor Ombudsmn and will be reporting @sytner & @BMW_UK to trading standards this morning, is there anything else I should do? I upped my budget specifically to avoid poor quality and service & that’s just what I have got

According to @BMW_UK and @Sytner this is normal wear and tear for a 14 mnth BMW i5 steering wheel with around 11k miles on the clock. Brand new, this car is nearly £100k - does that seem right to you? Feels worse that it looks like sandpaper and the coating is starting to flake

@BMW_UK @BMW I have a bill of £2 grand and a month's wait for a new adblue tank on a car with 65k miles and 7 services. Completely unacceptable and nothing to stop the same thing happening again

@BMW_UK the number of BMW diesels suffering adblue issues warrants an investigation. Many drivers are illegally coding out the adblue rather than deal with the large four figure repair bills. Annoying on a car serviced at twice the recommended intervals with full history.

@BMW_UK Well I did send a DM, heard nothing back. Tried to book an oil service and air filter. Service advisor told me I needed a micro filter which she insists is a fancy name for an oil filter (it's not).

@BMW_UK Just spoken to a lady in the service department at Williams group who insists that a micro filter is a fancy word for an an oil filter and that I need one as part of an engine oil service. I tried to explain the difference to no avail. Poor training?
