Wife plays Taylor Swift on repeat in the car and she's finally broken me. I can never admit this to anyone, but she's probably the most talented singer/songwriter in pop music for at least 20 years. Wife is going to see her in concert and I'm secretly a little jealous.

Had a v intense affair with a married man thinking he was unhappy and was going to leave, except he lied & didn't. During the affair he would take the piss out of my printer, but the joke's on him because I've just printed out our entire chat history and posted it to his wife.

Today I turn 27 YEARS OLD. Which means 11 YEARS AGO I was on Educating Yorkshire. I am so fortunate to live life sharing the power of teachers. A reminder that Norway has a £1 trillion + wealth fund for ordinary people, built over years by taxing fossil fuel giants at 78%. Last year Norway collected $89bn in tax from fossil fuel giants. They then used the fund to pay people’s energy bills. That’s the alternative way.

I recently decided to hire a guy called Roland, over a far superior candidate just so I had a legitimate reason to say Ro- land all day in the style of Janet from Grange Hill.

Wages don’t cause inflation, profiteering does. Your energy bills didn’t double or treble this year because they doubled energy workers wages. Your energy bills went through the roof because energy corporations pocketed monster profits. Nationalise energy. Tax profiteers.

A firm founded by Rishi Sunak’s father-in-law signed a billion-dollar deal with BP just two months before the PM opened up hundreds of new licences for oil and gas extraction in the North Sea. Pick the bones out of that.

Here's what I don't get. All Labour has to do is say they'll shut down on their first day in office all new oil and gas projects that were greenlit between 1 August 2023 and the GE, and no firm will touch the available licences with a barge pole. It's really that simple.

@BowTiedOx My youngest kid starts high school in September, I've already told him to look at what everyone else is wearing...and to do it better. Not to an extreme, but 5-10% better. He'll stand out without even trying.

Dressing well/stylishly wasn’t something I ever cared about until the last couple years. I used to be like “I’m jacked, that’s good enough” However, I’ve learned that it’s really easy & the little mental edge/confidence of knowing you dress well makes it all worth it.

This is what has happened UK Wholesale Gas Prices in the last year. They have completely, totally & utterly collapsed. Your bills are £1,000 higher since then.

Mexico fitted 19,000 solar panels on a single day. That’s nearly 7 million a year. That’s nearly 35 million per parliament. Politicians in the UK will never allow this because solar is 8 times cheaper than gas. They will never allow you access to cheaper energy. It hurts profits

Just a reminder that renewables are much cheaper than fossil fuels – last year they were NINE times cheaper!
