This was an actual tee box at a USGA Men’s Mid-am qualifier yesterday.
There were two tee boxes like this. And yes, this is real.
Looks like @ClubProGuy setup the course! 😀
How you feeling if you show up to your mid-am qualifier and see this? 😂

@morganhousel If we go down 30-40% someone (Congress? Vance?) will try to take Grandpa’s keys away

@cantstopstupid1 @charliebilello 08 was gut punch after gut punch. It was tough hanging in there. I don’t want to relive that…

@charliebilello Almost looks like 08 was a good time to buy which it wasn’t close to a bottom

The S&P 500 fell 10.5% over the last 2 trading days which was the 5th biggest 2-day decline since 1950.
What has happened in the past following the biggest 2-day declines?
Stocks were substantially higher over the next 1, 3, 5 years every time.

@morganhousel The early 1980s maybe?
And perhaps not financial crisis level, but the population is littered with people who got in too deep w/ high interest cc debt.
English

@bobarmour I'm sure there are examples but I'm trying to think of a financial crisis that happened because people borrowed too much money at high interest rates. It's usually the opposite (low-interest borrowing reduces options in a recession).
English

@morganhousel For sure, but that’s the exception that proves the rule. They’ve been massively better off for almost 5 yrs or more depending on when they refi’d. I think most (all?) would make that trade off.
English

@bobarmour In some cases it's the opposite. Lots of people jumped at 2% mortgages and now they can't move without a lifestyle downgrade.

We've seen the data: 300,000+ transfers between Borrow and Invest accounts. That's a lot of clicking! So we asked: "How can we make this easier?"
We've got something coming... guess the feature! What do you think we're launching to make margin transfers easier?
