@vyrotek I think it’s a skill that needs to be honed/practiced. Back in the day when I worked in customer service roles all the time, I was great at remembering names and details of customers. Now after 20 years of dev work, I can’t even remember the names of half the people I work with.

I am really bad with names. REALLY BAD. Might be getting worse. I will forever remember your face, avatar, clothes, situations, life facts, random posts, etc about you. My memory is extremely visual. But I never remember names unless you interact with me regularly. I will often recall a name by remember seeing it somewhere. And visually replay interactions in my head to remember what someone said. What neuroscrewedup category does this fall under?

are we're thinking about web apps wrong? many modern web app experiences are probably more similar to games today. we spend a lot of time and resources forcing high interactivity, animation, and motion into a document platform that was designed for digital "pages". what's holding other approaches back? components? image if @shadcn had all his components available in a canvas/webgl engine form! (@rive_app / lottie?). and what if it was all powered by wasm which let you use any language you want?
