I am really getting sick and tired of "moderate" Democrats (as if such a thing actually exists) shouting that the DSA is some sort of new, existential threat to their party and to America. In reality, the DSA is the entirely logical and foreseeable outcome of the way Democrats have been pandering to the most extreme and perverse elements of our society for the past 40 years. Logical. Foreseeable. Stop acting surprised. You are what you are, you get what you deserve.

I don’t think people realize how absurd this is. Scottish runner Josh Kerr just broke the mile world record in 3:42.66, an average speed of 16.2 mph. Most people couldn’t even briefly reach that speed, let alone sustain it for an entire mile.

You read that right. There are NO background checks for Congressional staff. H.Res 500 would require background checks and full disclosure of dual citizenship and employment of foreign nations for staff. No surprise to anyone that we are being fought every step of the way.
