I note the retirement of Michael Rousseau as President and Chief Executive Officer of Air Canada. I thank him for his years of service and his contribution to maintaining Canada’s position as a leader in international air transportation. The Government of Canada will continue to work closely with Air Canada’s leadership and Board of Directors to ensure the airline provides safe, reliable, affordable, and bilingual service to all Canadians.

IMHO, it's almost impossible for Carney to make economic decisions in Canada that are not conflicts of interest. But no one seems to care. Canada is just too damn polite/uninterested.
