A perfect Windsor knot looks good, but perfect airmanship matters far more! When most pilots are issued clip-on ties with rusted clips, health always comes before optics.

Waise, since I am being told I am picking on people, @airindia, please ensure some grooming for pilots as well. Had a pretty ugly cut hair, non-official tie wearing and top collar button open under the tie on the cockpit crew of AI2943 on 7 October 2025. The reason I know, he came out halfway through the cabin to to meet someone.
