hi @thdxr every time something goes wrong with a model for example codex (parsing error), the agent goes into compaction for no reason. Is there a fix for this?

@bradgessler @claudeai @sentry i have this same problem and i havent been able to diagnose it and its unbelievably frustrating you can use mcp stdio and device-auth atm to work around it (e.g. npx @sentry/mcp-server auth) but i will fix this one way or another -.-

I’ve finally started using mcp with @claudeai Code and @sentry and I gotta say it’s mostly a rough experience. I’m probably holding it wrong, but I’m surprised that I have to keep setting it up and auth-ing everytime I want to use it. CLIs are easier from that PoV.

@manchatz @thekitze i hate the keyboard and the nonsensical ui at times. but i love how seamless face id is and the apps are just less buggy since devs put in more effort for ios.

i tried to use an iphone the last summer (16 Pro Max) instead of my Samsung S24 Ultra. Beside what kitze already mentinoned in other posts, the lack of a "clipboard history" was the last straw. And the camera, the camera in my S24u (imo) is better, so it was a downgrade for me. The experiment lasted about 4 months.

i think it’s easy to only see the loudest people and i also think not looking at the code at all for anything you want to keep for more than a day is a horrible idea. great for one-off scripts though. it would for example probably take me a week to get data out of a firebird database file with a firebird version from 2010, but it was pretty painless to just tell the robot to do it for me. as always, best to try it yourself for a while and see how it feels.
