@sampritibh @navierboat I do not grok why they went with a hydrofoil. There's enough of an innovation vacuum in this space to simply provide a v1.0 that has modern sea-keeping and fully electric propulsion. A fully-planed foil as shown would not have enough cruise duty-cycle to justify its mass.

I don’t think people really grasp how awful vote by mail is a public policy. 1) There’s no check the vote is filled out by the registered voter 2) There’s no check the voter was able to cast a private vote 3) There’s no chain of custody for the ballot until it is received

@liminal_warmth No it would not due to the opacity of any implementation wrt the status quo. This is one of those situations where a “phased roll-out” would be mandatory over multiple election cycles. Ideally, start small/local where parallel re-construction is practicable.
