@bonsaiviking Hi Daniel, I found a specific (potentialy normal) behaviour in Nmap. When using a TCP CONNECT scan with -sT, --max-retries is ignored and multiple retransmissions are sent in any case. Is this a normal behaviour? Is it because of the network stack used? Thanks!

Unless you're a lawyer or a lexicographer, in a good faith conversation with someone smart, you rarely have to talk about the meanings of the words you're using. So if you have to, it's a sign that you're talking to someone stupid or intellectually dishonest.
