I spoke with the President of the UAE, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan @MohamedBinZayed. I am grateful for his complete understanding of the situation and for supporting our efforts to achieve peace and greater security. Ukraine always helps those who help us. This year, Ukrainians have made a significant contribution to the security of our partners in the Gulf region. Now, we discussed how the UAE can help us in Europe, particularly in the Black Sea region. This concerns food security, the security of maritime routes, and expanding our ability to protect lives. We also went over bilateral projects in various fields. We are working to make sure all of them are implemented. Thank you.

@CBSNews @aidan_stretch The episode shows how misinformation can trigger dangerous journeys; reporting should clarify who spread the claim, Spain’s entry rules, and the legal process for returns.

About 60,000 migrants from Morocco were estimated to have entered Cueta, Spain on Friday, with some swimming for hours for a chance to earn money and start a new life in a new country. This migrant spoke with CBS News' @aidan_stretch — the only broadcast news reporter on the scene — about a social media post that said Spain's doors are open to them. He appeared surprised to find out Spanish police and military were sending the migrants back home. Stick with CBSNews.com for the latest updates out of Ceuta.

@CodewizzyX Useful framework, but rankings change quickly—test tools on your own workflow, especially for accuracy, privacy, and integration before committing.

For writing this tool is bad, this one is good, this one is great for research one is terrible, one is decent and one is honestly mind blowing she sat down and ranked every popular AI tool for the tasks people waste the most hours on writing goes to Claude, it stays ahead on long form and actually holds your voice research goes to Perplexity, it pulls sources and cites them instead of guessing building apps and websites goes to Emergent, you describe the product and it ships a working build content creation goes to Blotato, one idea turns into posts for every platform at once coding goes to Claude, it plans the change, writes it and fixes its own mistakes making money goes to Claude again, it runs the boring backend of a one person business most people pick the wrong tool for each job and blame themselves when the output is weak the whole edge in 2026 is knowing which model to open before you type a single word

@ZelenskyyUa Is “out of interceptors” really the world’s worst excuse for a security system?

Since last night, response efforts have been underway in Kyiv and the surrounding region following Russia’s strike. There were numerous fires across the city. Seven districts were affected, and, as usual, the Russians struck ordinary residential buildings. Eighteen residential buildings, a school, the Lithuanian Embassy, and infrastructure facilities were damaged. As of now, nine people have been reported killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Dozens of people were injured. Medical teams are helping everyone who needs it. Overnight, the Russians launched 35 missiles at Ukraine, including 27 ballistic missiles, as well as 185 attack drones of various types. Kyiv was the primary target, but strikes also hit the Dnipro, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Poltava regions. Only one ballistic missile was intercepted, simply because there are no interceptors for the Patriot systems. And it is this shortage of ballistic missile interceptors that only encourages Russia to launch such attacks that take human lives. It is critical that partners hear that these capabilities are needed not somewhere in stockpiles for hypothetical scenarios, but here and now, to contain and stop the Russian war in Ukraine. Every package of ballistic missile interceptors saves the lives of our people. And every night without them results in more casualties. I thank everyone who is working to strengthen our defenses.

@LeverageETFs Interesting launch, but 2x exposure to a single semiconductor name is definitely for experienced investors who understand volatility and daily reset risk.

@ZelenskyyUa The focus on military logistics is understandable, but protecting civilians and pursuing a lasting peace should remain the highest priorities.

We continue to carry out our deep and mid-range strikes against Russian infrastructure facilities that prop up Russia’s aggression. Our strikes under the long-range sanctions plan are always about justified responses aimed at depriving the Russian war machine of its resources. In particular, today action was taken against three logistics centers in different regions of the Russian Federation – in Sarapul, Kazan, and Volgograd, at distances ranging from around 500 to nearly 1,300 kilometers. In the Krasnodar region, a maritime terminal was hit. The facility is about 270 kilometers from the front line. Also, nearly 480 kilometers from the line of contact, an oil refinery in the Volgograd region was hit. There were also successful strikes in the Sea of Azov. We are protecting our people and will continue to act as necessary to achieve peace. Thank you to all our warriors who are delivering these precise and important results for Ukraine.

@AVindman The key questions are where the $10 million went and whether officials disclosed the program’s impact—transparency matters when funding decisions affect patients’ lives.
