@ldsgolfer13 @SLCScanner it has been tried before in other states and it's a maintenance nightmare, they aren't designed to be driven over at speed by thousands of vehicles a day. if anything breaks it can cause horrible crashes

🚨 DOUBLE FÅTAL WRONG-WAY CRASH 🚨 NB I-15 at 1900 South (~2:00 AM) Wrong-way driver traveling southbound in the northbound lanes (entered near 600 S) collided head-on with another vehicle. The impact caused the innocent vehicle to burst into flames. 🔴 Wrong-way driver: non-life-threatening injuries. Driver is suspected to have been driving under the influence and has been arrested. 🔴 Other vehicle: Both Occupants passed away at the scene. NB I-15 closed at 1900 S until ~6:30 AM. — Sgt. @F1Devv I looked it up on Google maps and none of the lanes are marked for turns. I agree the 3 into 2 thing is weird and probably causes a lot of accidents, but yeah this person had zero reason to think it was okay to turn from the center lane

The original road he’s on is a 3 lane road that turns into a 2 lane road. The left most lane is likely a left only, the middle lane is optional straight or left, and then the right lane is straight only. Fair confusion, however if there were no signs/ street markings turning from a middle lane is suicide. Also you turn into your lane, I’m tired of people making a right and end up in the far left lane.

@borrachacansada the first one i failed pulling out of the dmv parking lot - there was a truck parked blocking the siteline of the lane. i paused for an oncoming car who then waved me in - the instructor made me loop back into the dmv parking lot and said that wasn't safe and i failed
