Inflate the debt to 100 trillion, cancel it all, issue a digital currency. All tech and data centers must be up first. Then create a crisis, the snare is set. FDR confiscated all gold before. You don’t need to be a genius to see where this is all heading. Agenda 2030.

I came home from work today and saw a smart camera on my front door “What the fuck is this?” I asked my wife “Oh, Pierre installed it, so I feel safer around our neighbors” “Safer from who? The lovely Somali family next door?” She didn’t say a word “Not only your boyfriend is a racist, but he also has no respect for data privacy” “What?” she asked “This device collects biometric data from every person who walks past our door without their consent” She sighed “Yes, he installed a surveillance device that targets minorities, and violates GDPR at the same time” I ripped the camera off the wall and reported Pierre to both the data protection authority and the anti-discrimination office He is no longer allowed to sleep over until both cases are resolved European values are not negotiable for me

@levelsio Yea and during the Industrial Revolution, it was not a service based economy. Now everyone relies on digital, paper pushing jobs. AI can easily automate.

The Industrial Revolution did create new jobs, it just took 40 to 60 years (!) after destroying the old ones I believe it could be faster now, AI itself says 10-15 years What makes it go slow "Regulation is stickier than it was, mature democracies move slow" So the most regulated economies will transition slowest and it will hurt most for people (aka Europe) The most agile low regulation economies will transition fast

@levelsio This was the most depressing post I have read in a while… On the other hand I choose to see it from the positive angle: what new opportunities will open up for creative entrepreneurs?

@BowTiedIguana It says that the forever war is ongoing. The entire U.S. economy is dying, having multiple active wars, is the only solution to artificially boost the decline.

I said this I forgot to who but I said it BigTech will eventually come for all apps / startups / companies because they can fill the niches now that before could not because they were too small Those niches is where entrepeneurs hung out, nice parts of the market people could build a little SaaS with $100K/y to even $100M/y, notjing like the $100B/y revenue BigTech was doing, but worth it With AI now BigTech can fill those niches + they are the ones training and owning the best models, and keeping the best models for themselves they can outcompete anyone who doesn't own them (everyone except other BigTech) End game for their survival is simply trying to take every business, it's just capitalism This completely changes the prospect for entrepreneurs as there won't be much left, because BigTech is financially incentivized to have to take everything Because if they don't, their competitor will! x.com/marmaduke091/s…

Who is worse. The democrats or the leadership so incompetent that they ensure a democratic win. The entire GOP and much of the Trump coalition is a farce. Total disappointment outside of border closure. Which again, will just be reopened under dem rule as we saw under Biden. We do not have the demographic safety to outlast Trumps mistakes.

I never thought it would get so bad that I of all people am trying to get people on common ground. And a lot of people are being NASTY to me. This isn’t my nature, to suffer insults, but Democrats are so much worse than the worst person who voted for Trump could ever be.

OK, once again, on the record sources beat anonymous sources. And multiple official sources, including those at the Vatican, have now made it clear that the “Avignon Papacy” story was entirely false, and NO threat of any kind was made. I can certainly imagine it might be a tense meeting, but a tense meeting is understandable given the difference of views. Administrations have many tense meetings all the time. It’s part of being a world leader. So once again, this is a false story from beginning to end and they are still trying to push it with anonymous claims. Here is reporting from The Pillar, which Catholics have told me is the gold standard on Catholic reporting.

BREAKING: A “Vatican source close to Pope Leo XIV” tells NBC Chicago that the Pentagon meeting between Trump officials and the Vatican’s top American diplomat “was most unpleasant and confrontational.” This is now the fourth news outlet to describe the meeting in this way.

Tucker had the highest rated show on FoxNews. Alex Jones was called out by name by Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election and his YouTube did billions of views before taken offline. Why lie? You can hate Tucker or Alex, or whatever, but denying reality isn’t useful.

Some of the people who have spent weeks lecturing me about how the Iran war was super necessary are now also assblasted when you point out that that the ceasefire is not going well. I guess if/when Trump resumes attacks they will reverse their opinions again.

With all the threats from USA of pulling out of NATO, and pulling out of their European bases, they don’t seem to realise there is a rising ground swell of opinion that they should just do exactly that. Time to call their bluff.

100 %. I detect a sense of resignation in Europe that there’s no point in appeasing these cynical provocateurs anymore.Rubio and the top military know that pulling US bases out of Europe would be an epic act of self-harm.They won’t say it but the message is: Pull out or shut up

Rubio: If Europe won’t allow us to use the bases we man and fund for their defense when we need them we ought to close them down and remove our troops from Europe. If they get attacked by Russia we can discuss whether or not we have the time to help.

I've been reading The Diamond Age again. Fantastic book, you should read it. Hackworth was a forger, Dr. X was a honer. The distinction was at least as old as the digital computer. Forgers created a new technology and then forged on to the next project, having explored only the outlines of its potential. Honers got less respect because they appeared to sit still technologically, playing around with systems that were no longer state-of-the-art, hacking them for all they were worth, getting them to do things the forgers had never envisioned.

Message to team Trump - if this is true it’s not going to work. The only message that has any chance of success is ‘we are making your lives better.’ Spending $2 billion a day to kill people on the other side of the world doesn’t do that.
