@HSELive hi there, sorry its so late.. Myself and my family have finally managed to book pcr test, following positive antigen test, there is 4 of us however the appointments are for the same time but at 4 different locations.. Is there anything I can do?

@FergalBowers @rtenews Majority of people in 60-69 cohort were given Astrazeneca, so 2nd dose was probably not received until end June for most.Will the 6month be reduced to 5 months? Or will 50-59 receive their booster before the 60-69? Not begrudging anyone getting booster here, more ppl the better

@ronan_glynn Yet my father in law (75) GP isn't running their over 70 booster clinic until 17th December!! They don't seem to be in any rush to give booster to the over 70s in our local area unfortunately

Incidence of #COVID19 is currently very high and rising. If not addressed, this will result in significant hospitalisation and mortality. This is not inevitable. We can stop these infections transmitting by continuing to follow the public health advice.

💉Following updated advice from NIAC, all over 50s will receive a booster vaccine dose in the coming weeks. The booster-vaccination of over 60s began earlier this month.

Do they really have to wait 6 months for booster.surely there is a lot of people in 60-69 cohort in this position as the majority got astrazeneca & had to wait 9weeks+ on 2nd vaccination. Worst case scenario in NPHET modelling suggests that between 400 and 500 people might need ICU beds at some point in December. Best case is an ICU requirement of 200 to 220 beds, the Cabinet Covid Committee hears tonight

Online registration will open tomorrow at 10am for people aged 69. Registration will be available for people aged 68 on Friday, 67 on Saturday, 66 on Sunday and 65 on Monday. You'll need your PPSN, Eircode, mobile phone number & email address to register. hse.ie/rollout
