It was a matter of me not living up to my full potential and fucking up, royally. That being said I’m incredibly grateful that happened. Always found it hilarious that Mike Bennett was constantly touted as a future major superstar for WWE by in the day. Folks who where considered experts were saying that. By the time he got there, he was considered outdated & never took off.

Had a film crew come by my house and interview me for almost three hours about how amazing pro wrestling is. Discussed everything from Gorgeous George to El Dandy to Swerve Strickland to Freddie Blassie and so much more. In the final match of the night Honky Tonk Man beat Siva (or Sivi) Afi. It was Dec.14th when Honky Tonk Man introduced Jimmy Hart as his manager but he was being booed in Sacramento this night. Much better as a heel anyway. Nice way to close the show & head for home. 34 years ago

Dec 5, 1986 Mom, Dad, my brother & I went to Arco Arena in Sacramento to see our 1st WWF event. We got this event sheet with a Program & my folks got a Hot Rod shirt for me- size small back then. Mom got pics from 8 of 9 matches. I miss her. Today I'll wear this new Hot Rod shirt
