The downside of hot sunny days is the chuntering of eco-zealots saying we need to basically enslave humanity so that we no longer have hot sunny days.

I was 36 in 1976 and remember from June through to and including August constant very hot dry sunny days. No rain at all. Streets had stand pipes for families to get water. We were told that the world has always had changing weather patterns. NO MENTION OF BLOODY CLIMATE CHANGE

@urgoyle @BollocksWeather @TheWhiteManXRP Try and learn about conditions that are favourable for contrails and you'll nearly be there, you're closer to joining the dots than you think 🤞

@BollocksWeather @TheWhiteManXRP We've had 3 days of sun the uk with no spraying, intact, no planes at all in my rural area. So the " your on the contrail flightpath" excuse the bots and npcs use is pure bullshit.

@zatzi I can't remember the last time a weather warning was actually dangerous. Sweaty, yes. Dangerous, no. Unless elderly or something. But the cortisol...

Give yourself a pat on the back…somehow, god knows how…you made it. You survived the terrible horrific May 2026 heatwave….it was devastating. 4 whole days of hot weather. Clearly it was deeply significant. Absolute proof that we’re all doomed and our country will be in flames forever more from here on it…and yet🤔 50 yrs ago this year, in 1976….before anyone was talking about climate change and global warming we had a genuinely devastating heatwave. It lasted 8 or 9 weeks. We had over 30 consecutive days over 30 degrees. The entire country had a drought. Rivers and streams dried up entirely, parks and fields turned to barren, cracked, dead wastelands….yet that was 50 yrs ago…answers on a postcard please!!

Thunder and lightening on the way. Can't wait for them to name it 'Storm Genghis' and pretend it isn't an entirely normal thing to happen after a few days of heat.

If you spend your life worried about the climate, you are a loser. Most people will not notice any change within their lifetimes because the range of natural variability is so large. I certainly haven’t noticed anything unusual here in the U.S. If it’s hot, go outside, shove a popsicle up your ass, and take a swim. Or stay inside with some A/C. Our ancestors faced far more extreme climatic conditions and did not hyperventilate about it the way first worlders in Europe and the U.S. do.

If it wasn’t so true, it would be funny. This two day run of temperature records at the same location, tells you what’s wrong with locations used by the Met Office. It’s more than likely there is either a fault with the recording device, or something is wrong with its location.. watch this space for more.

I said it before and I’ll say it again: I don’t care if the Black Plague, Hantavirus, Ebola, Monkeypox, and whatever new bullshit they cook up in a lab all come back at the same time… I am never masking up again. I am never locking down again. I am never living in fear again. You can scream, shame, and doompost all you want. My face stays uncovered, my life stays open, We did the fear thing already.

Veritatem 2021: TRUTH IS NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST
URGENT WARNING FOR UK RESIDENTS Have your anti-anxiety medication ready because the UK Met Office is going to try to frighten the living daylights out of you again tomorrow. Alternatively you can just treat the hysterical fear mongering with the contempt it deserves.

@lltbr123 @Met4CastUK It's a weather account talking about weather, where are you getting the apocalypse from? You're adding that bit in because you don't like the colours on a map!

And? What? Why are you telling us what we can see and feel? Its hot. Let's adapt. Let's get more air-conditioning. Posting as if the apocalypse is almost upon us means nothing. We can't do anything about it. We could go back to pre industrialisation wouldn't change a thing. Thanks anyway. Love the red crayons.

Met4Cast - UK Weather@Met4CastUK·
This is a remarkable anomaly map. Temperatures will be some 15-18°C above average over the next couple of days. For context, that’s the anomalous equivalent of the UK hitting 39-40°C in July. Extreme for the time of year.

@Met4CastUK And yet record for May was Tunbridge Wells in 1944 At 32.8C. Eco clowns armed with misleading statistics swarming in the Spring sunshine. It’s warm, it’s normal variability, quit the squawking and let people enjoy a few sunny days.
