@SteveStauning @Intuit @turbotax @TaxAct I'll be leaving TurboTax if this announcement holds. I can't imagine it takes much of anything to support this product.

I guess there was enough backlash in 2022 to make @Intuit rethink this idiotic decision. Fast forward to today, and @turbotax announced they're indeed going to discontinue #itsdeductible 10/1/25. Since I already switched my tax prep to @TaxAct, it won't be a huge pain, though it does give me additional motivation to switch from @QuickBooks to literally anything else. #EvilCompany

@kathtrep The logical thing to do is stop using all Intuit/TurboTax products.

#itsdeductible C’mon, Turbo Tax! You are leaving a lot of people in the lurch!
