I’m far from an expert of assessing goalkeepers, but what impresses me most about Joan Garcia is how strongly he imposes himself. Such a huge presence, especially in 1v1/close range situations. He’ll be perfect for us, particularly with the high line.

Depends, are they implementing your failed interpretation of the rule, or the actual rule? In CFL the Goal posts are at the front of the endzone, and the Endzones are ~20 yards deep. Unlike the NFL the Defending team can field the ball on a missed field goal, and return it as if it were a kick off/punt and yes even score a TD off a missed FG. The Rogue is the offset, if a kicker misses, and the ball is unplayable (Out the back of endzone) the kicking team is awarded 1 point. This means a 30 yard FG must go 50+ yards to go out the back of the endzone, and avoid 1-2 defenders from stopping/returning it. And no the NFL should not adopt this rule it would absolutely cook Average Americans brain.

Wild: The Canadian Football League has a rule that if a missed field goal goes through the end zone it counts as a point. So if it's a tie game, a missed field goal can win the game for the kicking team. Should the NFL implement this rule? 🤨

At this point, I take it for granted that Jules Kounde will, at minimum, give you a solid 7/10. He’s simply one of the most complete defenders out there, and we’ve becoming accustomed to seeing this multiple times a week. Rolls-Royce fullback.
