promising young woman is a shittier version of gone girl. saltburn is a shittier version of the talented mr. ripley and theorem. wuthering heights is a shittier version of wuthering heights
Joe Russo@joerussotweets

The way Academy-Award winner Emerald Fennell gets under the skin of “intellectuals” and “cinephiles” should be studied. She’s a provocateur operating at the highest of (Wuthering) Heights and it drives them INSANE and I absolutely love it.

Remember how The Mandalorian got spinoff shows? Can we get an #Andor spinoff with Mon Mothma? I hurts to say goodbye to such a phenominal actress in a phenomenal role. Genevieve O'Reilly, the icon that you are, you will be missed terribly!

@smalltown_wife Had my first at 40. Conception and pregnancy was straightforward. 9 months later, she's a delight. I say this not to be smug, or insinuate that stats don't matter, but to provide some balance for those feeling stressed by the constant refrain of "give birth young". It CAN happen.

Much of the Good Omens fandom has left this app, has stopped making art or are new folks I don’t know yet. I loved this space with all my heart. The fandom got me through the hardest part of my life. I miss connection, and I’m so afraid that the way social media was is gone.

@fabledfool She directed Heaven Sent and that is enough for me to be very pleased...possibly my favourite bit of tv ever.

Azira’s Aardvark | The Odd One
Rachel Talalay directed all 3 of the 2-part finales and the last Christmas special of Capaldi’s Doctor Who era. Those episodes had so much story, detail and emotion packed into them and they were INCREDIBLE. She knows what she’s doing. THE GOOD OMENS FINALE IS SAFE IN HER HANDS.

@gbsheard The Time Meddler is one of my favourite DW stories and underrated in the canon. IMO.

@TheCinesthetic Horses neighing all the time. Every shot with horses in movies, they have added sound effect whinnying. In reality, horses are largely silent, particularly when on the move. Having them chatting all the time while they are being ridden sounds silly to anyone who knows horses.

@guardian The same @Literacy_Trust research shows that “Nearly twice as many children and young people who read comics in their free time told us that they enjoy reading compared with those who didn’t read comics in their free time (58.6% vs. 33.1%).” It is time to invest in comics/GNs.

@HarleyShah Tbf there's a tube station there now so it is very central. However I do remember when Battersea was like the shadowy place in the lion king because getting there required something like trekking the Himalayas. What was there? Nobody knew...

Also I have lived in Battersea. It is not “zone 1 super close to central”. It took me longer to get to work in central than when I lived in Walthamstow or Peckham loool

🌷 Is there a more beautiful staircase than this 😍 🌷 The iconic Tulip Stairs are one of the original features of the Queen's House in Greenwich. It's the first geometric self-supporting spiral staircase in Britain.

@SunnyB_stard It's because when they first meet, A says they'll be "shutting this all down in 6,000 years". We know that's their first ever meeting, so the millions of years comment can't be true. They knew each other, but it can't have been for millions of years, hence confusion @ N's comment

@DazlingDistress @Shrink_at_Large Can so relate to this. Multiple teachers mocking me did not lead to a love of sport. It's only in adulthood that I've learned physical activities can actually fun, when my brain and body get to learn moves and rules in their own time and without scrutiny

Dyspraxia affects co-ordination, spatial awareness and sensory perception. Dyspraxic kids and teens are twice as likely to develop mental health problems. Half of children with dyspraxia also have ADHD. Dyspraxia is often dismissed as something we all experience to a degree.
