@wolfstrength Ironically seeing this having a light week of not going as much, and its a deadlift day to get back on track 🫡. Yeah, more than any other compound lift, I feel it aerobically. Also felt it helped all my other lifts as I focused on it more.

Deadlift and it isn’t particularly close. - Closest thing to a full body stimulus in one movement - Trains posterior chain + quads + entire back + grip + abs/trunk, trap, lats, and triceps isometrically. Even the pecs to a small extent get isometric work - Most people can lift the most weight for a full ROM in a DL = huge systemic stress and adaptive response - "Carryover to real life" - learning proper positioning for lifting stuff off the ground, and being strong at it, is a highly useful movement pattern Ironically the thing that makes some hypertrophy bois hate the DL, the fact that it doesn't isolate and target any one muscle group to a high degree, is what makes it the best choice if you could only do one exercise.

Here’s what CARBMAXXING means and why you should be doing it: - You only need a limited amount of Protein before extra intake stops providing additional muscle-building benefit…realistically ~.75g per lb of bodyweight is probably good and ~1g per lb bodyweight is definitely plenty - You only need but so many Fats in your diet to maintain good hormone function…realistically .25-3g per lb of bodyweight is likely enough for most people - You only have so many Calories to allocate each day (cut, bulk, recomp doesn’t matter…the budget is the budget) - When you overshoot Protein and/or Fats, those Calories must come from somewhere…this means you’ll need to displace calories from Carbs - Carbs are what drive training performance - Better training performance = more robust stimulus = more growth - So, if you’re eating more Protein or more Fats than needed…this is BY DEFAULT going to result in you eating fewer Carbs than is optimal which means poorer performance which means a less robust stimulus which means less growth Thus, the goal for building AS MUCH MUSCLE AS POSSIBLE is simple: - minimum necessary protein - minimum necessary fat - carbs comprise the rest of your calories This means the specific formula is: - Calories in line with goal - Protein ~.75-1x BW - Fats ~.25-.3x BW - Carbs fill in the rest Again, once you pass as certain threshold on Protein/Fats, every gram you add means a gram of Carbs you lose!

I think a lot of men need to realize they don’t have nearly the amount of gold required for the women who fuck w them to be actual gold diggers. You don’t pay any of her bills, you don’t fund her life, you don’t send her money for nails or hair or anything that could be taken as funding her. You buy her food when you’re together. You buy her gifts on holidays. That’s kind of just a normal dynamic of any basic friendship. If she goes to work every day and funds her own existence, you just throw her some dinners or buy her a coffee here and there, you’re doing the actual bare minimum that women do for their female friends on a regular basis. Creepy old man struck again at the gym today. A little background info about him: he’s over 60, weird, will sneak up on you from behind and start touching your biceps, loves to stare, and approaches you to compliment your body in a pedo way. He approached me and kept asking why I’m mad at him, why I’m ignoring and always avoiding him and why do I look so serious. He got all defensive when I said I hated his energy and presence.
