4 Edinburgh Bus facts: 1⃣ In the 10-year period 2007-2017 the total number of bus journey’s taken across Scotland declined from 487 million to 388 million per year - a drop of 20%. 2⃣ Over the same period Lothian Buses achieved patronage growth of 5% with customer journeys rising from 114m to 120m per year. 3⃣ 3 out of every 10 bus journeys in Scotland are on a Lothian bus. 4⃣ Its best years have still to come.

Thanks to the SNP in Holyrood, Glasgow is skint. Yet it's now been revealed that SNP Councillors are squandering YOUR cash hiring vans due to being unprepared for their own rushed Low Emission Zone. Even for their standards, this sheer incompetence is staggering.

Drivers complaining they are being charged £8 when only been in for 8 mins. It appears that the cameras on exit are recording 2 mins ahead of entry and demanding £8. When this is queried, staff at @EDI_Airport refuse to reduce charge to correct amount of £4. This must stop now.

@CllrScottArthur @Edinburgh_CC Bus gate at Shore goes live in both directions on 13th June. Can you confirm that taxis will be allowed access to this. Whole area has become more challenging when taking passengers to that part of town. Access via this bus gate essential for cabs.

@CllrScottArthur . Attached are photos of the temp taxi rank for Haymarket Station. This must be 400 meters from the station. Passengers have no idea where to find a taxi & those with mobility issues will struggle to get to rank. Please address this as a matter of URGENCY.

Constantly stuck in traffic costing passengers more than it should because of holes being dug and no work getting done, CEC have effectively let the utility companies do what they want when they want 🤷‍♂️

@CllrScottArthur @BBCRadioScot Most of us living in the "now" are sick of the manufactured delays from Haymarket to Roseburn and the inspired decision to have TTL'S on Western Approach at same time. It's painful travelling from E to W just now. AND Western Approach to be shut during 6 nations. Prioritise Cllr.
