Last week, we joined the Zero Food Waste Coalition’s annual fly-in to advocate for solutions that reduce food waste and fight hunger. Last week, Bread for the World and Indy Hunger Network brought clergy from across Indiana to the Statehouse to speak out against Senate Bill 1. Together, they met with lawmakers to urge a “no” vote on legislation that would add more restrictions and red tape to SNAP and Medicaid — making it harder for families to access food and health care.
