Dear Kenyan brother, Hon Musalia Mudavadi, With all due respect, I am deeply perturbed by the attached Kenya Gazette Notice on Privileges and Immunities. To be sure, myself and many Kenyans I know were educated by the Fulbright Foundation & FORD Foundation and have benefited immensely from the programmes of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. That said, giving any Private entity the same privileges and diplomatic immunities as the Vatican (the Holy See) or any other sovereign state opens a dangerous Pandoras Box that undermines KENYA’S NATIONAL INTEREST. What reciprocity in state terms, may I ask, does Kenya expect from a private organizations or agency? It is a very dark day for Kenya’s diplomacy, and for our legacy as a generation to future generations of Kenyans. HUMBLY, IT SHOULD BE RECALLED AND OTHER APPROPRIATE LEGAL FRAMEWORKS INVOKED.
