Welcome to BC, Prime Minister @MarkJCarney 🇨🇦 British Columbians are no strangers to hard work. We look out for each other, it’s who we are as Canadians 🍁. So when our sovereignty is questioned we roll up our sleeves, we come together & get to work. #TeamCanada Elbows Up.

When people are connected to primary care, they stay healthier and get answers earlier. That’s why we’re continuing to expand care across B.C. with more doctors, nurses and teams, including over 500 health professionals recruited from the U.S. @Dave_Eby

Communities around the world are celebrating Nowruz, also known by some as the Persian New Year. Nowruz, meaning "new day," marks the arrival of spring. It is a day for reflection about the past, and to look towards the future with hope and optimism. (1/6)

This morning I wrote to 17 Pride groups to say we’ll proceed with their request for a motion to support the Human Rights Code. Every MLA who supports the Code should vote to defend it. We need to stand up for human rights, not give ground to those who would take them away.

Great to see the progress at the new St. Paul’s Hospital campus in Vancouver. 🏥 The new hospital, opening in 2027, will have 548 beds, all single-patient rooms, and is designed to be pandemic-ready, earthquake-resilient, and built to LEED green building standards. @Dave_eby

BC Conservatives just said schools and hospitals would "take the brunt" of their cuts. That means fewer doctors and nurses. Longer waits. We're reducing the deficit responsibly - without cutting care. British Columbians can't afford their reckless plan. #bcpoli

#Budget2026 Our priorities are clear. Protect services such as healthcare & education. Keep BC one of the lowest-taxed provinces for working families. Reduce the deficit responsibly.

As Canadians we know it's unacceptable to use the horrible actions of one person to attack an entire group. We're committed to keeping schools safe and welcoming environments for all students. Thank you to BC Teachers for this important statement. 2/3

Hosted roundtable w/ Canadian steel producers, BC businesses, unions, and transport industry on steel tariffs. We support buying Canadian, but it’s critical Canada develops a transition plan that works for everyone to avoid major costs and delays in housing & key infrastructure.

Three men were arrested early this morning and are currently in custody following a shots-fired incident in Surrey. Project Assurance targets extortion-related threats, and proactive patrols led to the arrests. Investigators are working to determine whether the men are connected to the shooting. Thank you to @surreyps and partners. If you have dashcam or CCTV footage, any tip, no matter how small, can help investigators.

On International holocaust day, I remember. As a teenager I visited Dachau Concentration camp and will never forget that terrible history. As an adult I went to Auschwitz-Birkenau and watched as my travel companion found the names of his relatives murdered there. #Iremember

Today, we remember the more than six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, and the millions of others murdered by the Nazi regime. As survivors grow fewer, our responsibility to remember and our resolve to act grows stronger. (1/3)

Many ask about our work with First Nations. The Eskay Creek mine, announced today, would not exist without the partnership of Tahltan Nation. Thousands of jobs. Funding services in your community. High demand critical minerals. All because of the collaboration with Tahltan.
