@BenAsgariRacing I own 3 hairs on the tail of the 2nd horse in that Maiden. Some of the owners wanted to go there tomorrow but trainer had ear marked for fave... our girl is resting. Turned out to be a very hot maiden!

Not surprised plenty of early money for Brass In Pocket. She was great in a hot maiden behind Concord Connie then won well/good time/senior goes on. I am surprised they’re being so generous Bella Verona. Don’t see many win like that on debut against the track bias.

@JoePorter1990 I was on him antepost but there are no guarantees, especially in a Melbourne Cup. We've seen a few Euros over the years with big reps get found out by the handicap, big field, riding styles, track conditions. I still giggle about the mighty Yeats....

@V1Mack1 @lunarandsunny Japanese horses have never has a problem. They're raced on firm tracks so bone growth with be more thorough & complete than their European counterparts who race on softish tracks. Can compromise bone growth/strength for racing on harder tracks than accustomed to
