@NickEvaBuild @johnmactravels I assume you're referring to the Elite level academies (Cat 1 / Cat 2) and not the academy of @NewtownAFC or at least I hope so anyways. I would however like to go on record and disagree with you as I dont think we coach the flair out of players and in fact I personally actively

My personal opinion is something like mentioned above could have positive impacts on player development and encourage 'some' players to think before they just kick

@brettmc82 @mattdanaher @Don_K_Williams Pitches with correct goal sizes is good enough 🤷🏻‍♂️ Nothing worse than seeing matches played with adult goals on adult pitches at U13 because intermediate size pitches and goals not available; this gradual increase in pitch size and goal size is there for this very argument 2/2

@AndyHardey @mattdanaher Quite possibly it would impact on decision making but it could be a positive in possession as would stop players occasionally just kicking as hard as possible and hoping so that is a positive in possession. Out of possession however could have a negative impact on decision making
