Just re: Rogers Stadium….two things: 1. No question the right call was made to postpone the show. Zero debate. 2. As importantly, Bruno Mars, or Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars, or 30 Seconds To Mars….none of them could play ANYWHERE outdoors tonight in the entirety of Southern Ontario. There’s a small chance they’d have gone ahead at RBC Amphitheatre - but because Mars is basically doing a residency here w/ 5 shows in 9 days, they can just tack tonight on at the end of it. If the artist was moving on to Detroit or Montreal tomorrow night - MUCH harder to call the show. It’s a no-brainer. This just ain’t about the venue. It’s been a frigid monsoon for 16 straight hours & counting here! It ain’t happening at the TiCats’ stadium, or Harris Park in London. Come on. If this was the weather for any of the Lollapalooza shows at Molson Park in Barrie - they’re absolutely scrapped. Yes, this is the era of everyone complaining w/ no actual solutions - but there’s just no other solution here. Thanks!

@BUFSportsTalk I’d be all for this, but it would be hard to compete with the Yankees, Red Sox, and even the Blue Jays. All have monster budgets and are willing to spend big. Unless Elon Musk was our owner, we wouldn’t stand much of a chance with an MLB team. Same goes for NBA.

Buffalo being called “the best pound for pound sports city in America” made me think of a topic I’m passionate about: Buffalo SHOULD have an MLB team. Regional location is perfect. A retractable dome on the water front brings a new center for events. Additional metro line added to and from the stadium, also replacing or repairing the Skyway. I’ll hangup and listen.
