I don’t know if anyone will see this, but this is a great free community event we’re organising in Rainbow in a couple of weeks time, it would be great to see you here.

@MartinMurray_Ag We have had the absolute base model one since 2014 and honestly can’t really fault it.

This will be an amazing gig in my hometown of Rainbow - and it’s free!

@brgosling @GoldacresAust Another thing they do when they get full is stop sending data to cloud if you have an MTG. It will still collect it, but it won’t send. You’ll also find the coverage will struggle to keep up with where the machine is.

The JD 2630 on this @GoldacresAust G4 got so full that it stopped working. Tried to just delete documentation only but that didn’t work 🤷‍♂️. Ended up having to clear the screen entirely and upload new boundaries and guidance lines. Working again now.

@GRoh_Ag @GoldacresAust Ah ok, that’s odd. I’d had trouble with mine filling up, thinking that when I was clearing the documentation it would have also been clearing the old coverage maps. In the end it got so full that I couldn’t use my section control.

@brgosling @GoldacresAust That was the strange thing with this screen, it was going through the process but not actually freeing up any space. That’s why I had to delete all. As you’d know, screens do funny things sometimes

@LubckeMitch Where do you place the SE14? Down with the seed, on top, or somewhere in between? We are very new to it this year..

SE14 paying for itself on years like this. 3L in 50L water and 30L flexi N. Un planned test strip.

@ipaddockapps Thank you. I’ll get this next little bit of spraying out the way and then try that.

@desertfarmer84 @brgosling You could try exporting everything to a usb, then clear everything, then import setup data to see if that helps. I would recommend photos of the important setup pages first. Menu-gs3-gs3, tick all the left boxes and photo the 8 setup screens

John Deere GS3: What happens if I clear ‘all data’? I wouldn’t lose AB lines etc would I?? Clearing ‘documentation data’ doesn’t create enough space anymore.

@desertfarmer84 Ah ok, so you can just export the important set up data to a USB first?

@brgosling I press it once or twice a year and then repopulate everything from a USB stick.

@mickswarb Thank you. We have a concrete pad we can use so that’s not a problem. Do you mind sending me a photo or two of the one you use please?

@brgosling We use a similar thing but different brand and they are awesome. Only limitation is you need a concrete floor. Heaps quicker and safer than using forks like before.

What do people use for taking large dual wheels on and off tractors? We have always done it with a sling and loader, but doesn’t seem the safest. Had this recommended to me. Any other suggestions?

@BarryGr66 Yes that is what we currently do as well. I’ve just always found it difficult to get everything lined up properly, and don’t really like where you are standing while doing it. But maybe it’s still the best option.

@brgosling Heard of people having something similar to your picture but able to use on pallet forks. @HufWaynehuf68 Did you have something like that?
