@melrose6405 @1800weevil Have you got a water extinguisher? Super handy, reckon it’s saved our header a couple of times
English

Header fire extinguishers, a) can you get them tested and rebadged? And b) if so, any reco’s as to where you can take them to be done?(assuming Perth?) @1800weevil

TRD 2025
A brilliant presentation from Day Fay @Stirlings2Coast about all things Claying and a review of final results from the @theGRDC Claying efficiency trial. Great insights into how to best implement Claying on your properties.

@robbert115 @pbl1972 @kentonp_ag @AgroJAK @eyres_N Need to look at everything including feed quality and animal type (dry, wet, lamb at foot) and be careful with advice. Feed quality is often not good enough for pregnant or lambing ewes. Using high nitrogen rates can be toxic also even when outside recommended withholding

Hey @JohnDeere can you please make your Gen4 screens able to view the whole paddock. Such a backwards move from the 2630s
🤦♂️

@robbert115 At what growth stage were these sprayed ? Have you done any trials for seed set when sprayed with either gly or para at flowing or traditional spraytop/crop top timing ?
Thanks for all to good work
English

@hirschirsch @Tedthekelpie Yeah ours usually get us out of trouble but it’s more snapping hydraulic fittings when break out and there’s only 38 of a 40 Tyne bar
English

@mickswarb @Tedthekelpie Performance pretty good. But only 2yo stubble to really test it out this year. I’ll tell you next year after our big 4t cereals
English

@hirschirsch @Tedthekelpie Have they improved? Ours are an afterthought
English

@hirschirsch @Tedthekelpie Was 60k in 2015, be surprised if it’s gone down
English

@kentonp_ag @AndrewThomfarms Did the smaller plants come up on a rain then or is it all from subsurface moisture ?
English

the only plot we have established in the absence of Autumn rainfall in 2024 (no irrigation from me either) the reason…subsurface moisture thanks to @AndrewThomfarms spraying summer weeds, sown slighter deeper, large seed, good residue cover. How do we do this more often?

English

@hirschirsch @Tedthekelpie @agbyte_leet @GRDCWest Yeah cool we nervously went 40 mm this year but looks to have worked. Was wondering how far could push it
English

@mickswarb @Tedthekelpie @agbyte_leet @GRDCWest We thought we were dry seeding here so 10mm. But in the past I’ve gone down to 55mm to chase moisture. If dry on top it doesn’t crust so seems to be ok
English

@Tedthekelpie @agbyte_leet Would really like some more research in this space to help with that decision @GRDCWest . My gut says yes. But perhaps in March I’d go with 2.0mm retained seed @ 4kg/ha 60mm deep if I’m rolling the dice.
English

@BOM_au ACCESS outlook for winter is looking more positive and skill is good. You can look at individual locations also - a wetter June and July for you @wallworksimon ! 🤞 #climate

@LeighStrange1 @ipaddockapps What is following crop after 750 ml of reflex ?
English

@ipaddockapps 750ml of reflex PSPE 👍 save Sakura for the cereal phase
English

@RobertKitto1 At that depth do you ever have issues with the spiked roller bulldozing ?
