@tomselliott @jimsciutto @SecBlinken The solution is 100% decouple our relationship with China. No trade. No CCP students in our schools. Tariffs on our trading partners who use China. The Uyghur situation is real and intolerable. We cannot tolerate it. Also Hong Kong, Tibet, Covid, new Islands. They're evil.

Bravo @spencerpratt. I have accompanied Judge Carter to his public hearing on Skid Row. I have followed the endless litigation with the at best incompetent homeless industry. When the 9th Circuit rejected Judge Carter’s attempt to take control of the vast puzzle palace that absorbs and wastes billions I despaired. If LA voters put you in this number one problem for the city and county can finally be tackled. There is zero excuse for 75,000+ broken people to be condemned to the streets to basically die off quickly and out of sight. Press on.
Spencer Pratt@spencerpratt

If that addict on your street were your own son, what would you do? That is the defining question that guides my 5 step plan to fix the homelessness problem in LA. We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They launder money and feed them more drugs, so they can keep their customers locked in this hell on our streets. We have a moral obligation from God to help them and make our city safe and clean for everyone. Karen Bass and Nithya Raman have forsaken this city. Time for real leadership. Time for real compassion.

@PeterSchiff @RepThomasMassie You are an expert on economics, and gold. You don't know politics. It was very revealing a couple years ago when someone asked your opinion on Vivek Ramaswamy, when he was the talk of the political world, and you said you never heard of him. You only know what CNBC has to say.

All the hate coming from Republicans against @RepThomasMassie means Reagan's Republican Party is dead. We now have the most left wing Republican Party in history. Democrats will move even further left to compete. This is a political death spiral. Got Gold?

"When the Astros snatched Don Sutton up in 1980, with a four-year, $3.1 million offer, it was impossible for Tommy Lasorda not to take it personally. Don Sutton had been a Walter Alston man, publicly lobbying for coach Jeff Torborg to replace the storied manager in 1976, even when Lasorda was all but a lock for the position. "I just don’t believe that I could play for a manager who’s a headline grabber, who isn’t honest." Sutton said at the time, later refusing to become “one of Lasorda’s bobos.” Things grew so heated that Lasorda challenged Sutton to settle their differences with fists. The pitcher declined. Their differences remained." Don Sutton never garnered a single Cy Young vote in four years under Lasorda during his prime. "Comparing me to Sandy Koufax is like comparing Earl Scheib to Michelangelo." Don Sutton. In 1998, when the Dodgers retired Don Sutton’s number, Sandy Koufax paid his own way to attend the retirement Ceremonies, as they were teammates on the 1966 Dodgers, Sutton’s rookie year. When Don Sutton thanked him, Koufax said: "How could I not? You’re the only 300-game winner I ever played with." Don Sutton is in my HOF!!!

Today I instructed my legal advisers to consider the harshest legal action against The New York Times and Nicholas Kristof. They defamed the soldiers of Israel and perpetuated a blood libel about rape, trying to create a false symmetry between the genocidal terrorists of Hamas and Israel’s valiant soldiers. Under my leadership, Israel will not be silent. We will fight these lies in the court of public opinion and in the court of law. Truth will prevail.

A woman who lives and works in California had $20,000 taken out of her bank account by The Oregon Department of Revenue She’s never lived in Oregon yet they were able to get her bank account information and take her money Oregon said the woman owed the money in unpaid income taxes and penalties, but she didn’t. She’s never lived or worked there She called and apparently Oregon has an address for her that was literally a public park They told her it would be 5+ months to refund her money. The woman had to get the local media involved to put pressure to make them give the money back faster Eventually, Oregon admitted it was a mistake Another state should not have access to out of state residents bank account information

Hypothetical: You’re the owner of an MLB team. I offer to take $0 salary and sign a minor league contract and go to Low A. If the “he sucks now” crowd is right and I get lit up, you cut me, lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If the “clubhouse cancer” crowd is right, you see it immediately at Low A and cut me. You lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. If there’s massive negative PR, which we already know there won’t be, you just cut me and move on. The story is dead in a couple days, you lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. But, assuming none of those things happen, which they obviously wouldn’t, if you like what you see, you can promote me to AA and re evaluate me there. Then AAA. Then the big leagues. If I earn it, which you’d be 100% in control of deciding. If you don’t think I’m good enough, you lose $0 and there’s no risk to the big league club. You could take away my “antics”. You could take away my social media. You could ask anything of me. If I don’t comply, you cut me, lose $0, and there’s no risk to the big league club. What logical reason is there to not do this? At worst, you cut me and there’s no risk to the big league club. At best, you get a Cy Young winner for $0 who you know can still pitch and could help the big league team if and when you see fit.

When OCIF agreed to shut down my bank as a publicity stunt for the J5, it needlessly deprived customers of their deposits for almost four years and counting. One customer took his own life after suffering the financial hardship of having his life savings trapped in the bank, a reason he confirmed in his suicide note. Now his widow is being forced to sell her house because the trustee OCIF appointed to “protect customers” still refuses to pay her.

Why is there not more outrage over what dozens of IRS emails prove? There was a two-year criminal grand jury investigation of me and my bank. No evidence of any crimes was ever found. To save face and pretend I was guilty, IRS agents basically bribed Puerto Rican officials to shut down my bank, so they could pretend I was guilty of the very crimes their own investigation found no evidence to charge me with committing. Then the IRS and their J5 partners used the shutdown of my bank to falsely claim credit for successfully putting a stop to tax evasion and money laundering, despite knowing firsthand that neither crime was ever facilitated by my bank.

@Jimfrombaseball Simmons was one of my favorite players when I was a kid. He was finally put in the HOF. Bill Freehan was an 11-time all-star. The best catcher in the 60's. It is a shame he was not put in the HOF while still alive. I went to one of his seminars for Little League coaches.

"Ted Simmons used to drive me crazy when he was a young catcher. One day he called time and came out to ask if I was giving him a hard time. I said: ‘I’m trying to win the ballgame. I don’t have the luxury of giving you a hard time.’ Simmons was a bright guy and he learned. It took him a while, but he caught on. As a 19 year old rookie, all he thought about was hitting line drives, which he did very well. You can forgive a catcher for a lot of sins when he clears the bases with a double." Bob Gibson. "That was the greatest thrill of my life, catching a no-hitter. Man, Bob Gibson was throwing fire." Ted Simmons. On Aug. 14, 1971 at Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Stadium, Ted Simmons caught Bob Gibson's only career no-hitter, in an 11-0 rout of the Pirates, and became the only catcher in Cardinals history to collect four hits while catching a no-hitter. Ted Simmons was behind the plate in 1,769 games — 1,578 were complete games! He caught 122 shutouts, was an eight-time All-Star, batted above .300 seven times, hit twenty-or-more home runs six times, and drove in 90+ RBI nine times. Despite his incredible offensive numbers, only 5% of the "Baseball Writers' Association of America" voted for him on the 1994 Hall of Fame ballot, making him ineligible. In 2019, the Modern Baseball Era Committee elected Ted Simmons to the National Baseball Hall of Fame! "There are things about some professional athletes that I cannot stand, the pretense, the egos, the pomposity, the greed." Ted Simmons. Retired with more RBI than Johnny Bench, more runs scored than Gary Carter, more hits than Carlton Fisk, higher batting average than Yogi Berra. Drove in more RBI than all catchers except Yogi Berra. Ted Simmons rebelled against baseball’s reserve clause, refused to sign a $25,000 contract, feeling he deserved bigger raise. An anti-war activist, heavily criticized the Nixon administration, and wore his hair so long that he was nicknamed “Simba.” Legend!!!

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

Yes, Rep. Dan Goldman has vouched for Biden's mental acuity multiple times, including in Feb 2024 when he called Biden "sharper than anyone" on the Israel-Hamas crisis with "impeccable command." He has also repeatedly tied the Hunter Biden laptop to Russian disinformation, calling it a "conspiracy theory promoted by Russian intelligence" in 2020 and suggesting manipulation in 2023 hearings.

"Once when the Yankee's Lou Piniella was batting, Piniella questioned Umpire Steve Palermo on a strike call. Piniella demanded: "Where was that pitch at?" Steve Palermo told him that a man wearing Yankee pinstripes in front of 30,000 people should not end a sentence with a preposition. So Piniella, no dummy said: "OK, where was that pitch at, asshole?" @PeterSchiff I read most of your posts, and have listened to most of your podcasts. I have not heard you state that you think Iran should have a nuclear weapon if they wish. That we should have no say so in whether they have one or not. Why chicken out on this? Make this point for everyone.

What if this war ends with Iran in a stronger position than when it began, the U.S. in a weaker position in the region, and Americans facing a greater threat? To prevent that outcome, the war could drag on indefinitely. In other words, Trump may have started another forever war.
