I can vouch for this I’ve done it a lot of times. Get back from work slab the rock hard frozen steak in a preheated airfryer for 12 mins on the highest temp, let it rest for 4 mins (that’s the trick), THEN flip it and do another 12’, rest 10’ after Perfect medium-well everyone

I can't believe that people still fall for this rubbish. North Sea oil costs ≈ $60+ to produce a barrel. Middle East oil costs ≈ $10-$20. The North Sea is known as a mature oil province — it's production peaked in 1999-2000 and has steadily declined ever since. Even if new drilling began, the production levels would fall and the costs would rise. It's an absolute non-starter. Reform UK know this, but they'll keep lying to you about it regardless. 🤦‍♂️
Robert Jenrick@RobertJenrick

It is economic lunacy to ignore our rich energy reserves. Reform will unapologetically drill in the North Sea for oil and gas. We’ll get bills down and bring back good jobs.

Attack near Fujairah oil terminal disrupts bunker operations An attack near the Fujairah oil storage area has added fresh uncertainty to the regional bunker market as tensions in the Gulf continue to escalate. According to industry sources, product loading at the Fujairah Oil Tanker Terminal (FOTT) has been halted. Initial reports indicate significant damage to key infrastructure, with Manifold 1 — supplying berths 1, 2 and 7 — reportedly inoperable. Manifold 2 serves berths 8, 9 and VLCC berths, but several terminals are not connected to it, leaving large parts of the port currently unable to load or discharge cargo. Fujairah is the third-largest bunker port in the world, meaning disruptions could have broader implications for regional marine fuel supply. Watch the #MarineTraffic playback of vessel activity at the Port of Fujairah over the past week.

@Rory_Johnston True, but the timeline matters a lot. I’d imagine $200 requires complete shutdown of the straights for another 6-8 weeks, which feels highly unlikely given the falling rate of attacks from Iran over just this first week alone.

Tonight, we reached an agreement with the Department of War to deploy our models in their classified network. In all of our interactions, the DoW displayed a deep respect for safety and a desire to partner to achieve the best possible outcome. AI safety and wide distribution of benefits are the core of our mission. Two of our most important safety principles are prohibitions on domestic mass surveillance and human responsibility for the use of force, including for autonomous weapon systems. The DoW agrees with these principles, reflects them in law and policy, and we put them into our agreement. We also will build technical safeguards to ensure our models behave as they should, which the DoW also wanted. We will deploy FDEs to help with our models and to ensure their safety, we will deploy on cloud networks only. We are asking the DoW to offer these same terms to all AI companies, which in our opinion we think everyone should be willing to accept. We have expressed our strong desire to see things de-escalate away from legal and governmental actions and towards reasonable agreements. We remain committed to serve all of humanity as best we can. The world is a complicated, messy, and sometimes dangerous place.

As someone who has run Polling Stations as a Presiding Officer for every election and referendum, national and local, for well over 40 years, I am baffled by the ‘family voting’ furore. A core duty of the PO is to maintain secrecy and only a PO may assist a voter in casting their vote - except for blind voters being assisted by a companion. In both circumstances, a meticulous record must be maintained. If this practice occurred, then there are only three possibilities: (a) the PO was not doing their job, (b), the PO and the POs staff were complicit, or, (c) that they were intimidated to comply. If it happened in the presence of authorised observers (when staff would be at their sharpest as regards to procedures) then it is even more extraordinary. Something about this story seems very odd indeed. I am not saying it didn’t happen, but the question is: how did it happen if it did happen? 🤷‍♂️

Good summary. I would add the ethane & ethylene bottleneck is worth highlighting. Lots of PE, MEG and other critical ethane derivatives flow through Hormuz to Asia. Losing those volumes means shipping ethane & ethylene from USGC across the Pacific to Asian petchem plants that still have spare capacity for processing into PE, MEG. Transporting raw ethane or ethylene requires highly specialized gas carriers, which is a tiny shipping segment dominated by $NVGS.

Why is Naphtha affected by LPG disruption at Juaymah? 1⃣ Petrochemical plants aka steam crackers typically takes base feedstock of naphtha. 2⃣ These crackers can also take LPG (mainly propane) as a swing feed. 3⃣ There are also crackers that can take ethane, gasoil and hydrowax but you normally can't replace LPG with these with feedstocks directly. 4⃣ So loss of LPG means increased demand for naphtha into the Far East. 5⃣ With already a tight naphtha market in the East plus worries of supply disruptions stemming from Iran, Nap E/W goes up further. 6⃣ Pro/nap East and MOPJ spreads are also reacting in the same direction. #oott

🚨FACT CHECK🚨 Claims that Britain is being “lost” to sectarian voting ignore basic facts. According to the Office for National Statistics, Muslims make up 6.5% of the UK population. Even in diverse constituencies like Gorton & Denton, they are a minority overall, not a majority controlling outcomes. UK elections are administered independently and regulated by the Electoral Commission. No official body has declared the by-election fraudulent or invalid. Voting based on issues that matter to you, whether local services, the economy, or foreign policy, is lawful and normal across all communities. That applies equally to pensioners, workers, religious groups, and every other voter. Democracy doesn’t stop being legitimate just because the result isn’t the one you wanted.

And ironically you’ve just shared footage of an incredibly calm and respectful guy telling you to stop being an idiot and just go home. You went to create trouble. You finally pissed someone off enough to retaliate (although conveniently you don’t have that footage) and then you went crying to police. Grow up. Do something useful with your life.

"I'm going to rob you." Here is the full story. I spent an hour speaking about Ramadan being a gluttony fest, Islam, and Whitechapel being demographically replaced for about an hour. Then two elderly Muslims who had covered faces became more visually agitated. They grabbed me, grabbed my equipment, tried to get me to the floor, punching, slapping, and pushing me. They completely destroyed one of my cameras and grabbed some of my equipment, like phones, out of my pockets. I ran away and called the police. The police refused to help because the wait time for Whitechapel was an hour, and I didn't live in Whitechapel at all.

What Bodø/Glimt are doing right now is rewriting what we think is possible in modern European football. No league games since November, straight into UCL knockouts beating City 3-1, Atlético 2-1, and then dismantling Inter 5-2 total. This isn't just "giant-killing luck." It's elite tactical discipline, ruthless high pressing even with zero rhythm from domestic matches, and a coaching staff that clearly turned winter friendlies/training into something lethal. Most northern team ever in UCL, now into the last 16. One of the purest Cinderella stories we've seen in years. Who do you want them to draw next? a City rematch or Sporting?

Bodø/Glimt have not played a league match since Nov 30th as the Norwegian league is out of season during the winter. All four of their competitive matches in 2026 have come in the UCL — and they’ve beaten Man City, Atlético Madrid and Inter Milan twice to book a spot in the Round of 16. One of the best Champions League stories in recent memory 👏

Find these takes baffling. Why is confidence and pride always reframed as arrogance? You don’t get to the top level without self belief. Why is it necessary to be coy about your achievements? Or is it just a female thing… Clearly not seen any of her other interviews before if you don’t think she’s a role model. Would love my kid to turn out like her.

I'm sorry, but even beyond betraying her country, this woman is awful. Off the chart levels of arrogance. I don't care how many medals she has, there is nothing about her I would encourage my daughters to emulate.
