@NickyPerkss I’ve been to Birmingham a couple times about 10-15 years ago and it was an absolute shithole. Has it really changed that much, Nick?

In the future, there will be no rich and poor There will be only those who swallowed their pride and moved to Birmingham Alabama and those that allowed their misconceptions dictate their thought process Having said that, don’t move here. We’re full

@AlexNowrasteh Hey, do immigrants that are deported count against this? Also, how do you account for jurisdictions that specifically dont ask about immigration status or not charge immigrants in your numbers? Ill hang up and take the answer on air.

@TX_born_free @Brandon81006757 @DoinksTheFrog Dude I’m not disagreeing this is absolutely shitty parenting. But two things can be true at once. She sucks AND ALSO the school sucks for not simply failing him and saying all these classes need to be retaken. For four years!

No, Brian. She did not say that. She said, “I assumed he was doing what he needed to do.” She never took the 60 seconds it takes to open Baltimore’s Portal system and look at his grades. All of his grades and academic records are available 24x7. The school notified her with both progress reports and report cards. If she wasn’t getting them, she never made a phone call. She said the teacher called her to discuss his poor performance. They didn’t meet, probably because she works during the school day. Did that phone call make her say, “I should take a look at what’s going on”-NO, she didn’t. She didn’t care enough. The school notified her with mailed reports and giving her 24x7 access to all his academics. baltimorecityschools.org/page/campus-po…

@Caltrans_Guy @RonFilipkowski So you’re a Nazi if you point out that Warren and Mayor Pete helped kill the spirit frontier merger claiming it would raise ticket prices, and then complained about rising ticket prices when spirit went bankrupt? Low bar for being a Nazi these days.

@TX_born_free @Brandon81006757 @DoinksTheFrog Incorrect. She said in the article she knew his grades but they kept advancing him. Yes, she is absolutely to blame but so is the school. ONE TEACHER in four years said something. That’s pathetic for them also.

No. They are not. The mother and the student are to blame. The mother went FOUR YEARS without looking at his grades. Baltimore mails a “Progress Report” and a Report Card” every grading term. She went FOUR YEARS without looking for it or saying “where is it.” Baltimore has an online system called “Campus Portal.” It has 24x7 access to grades, missing assignments, and credit history. She went Fourth Years and never looked. baltimorecityschools.org/page/campus-po…

@Polymarket It’s a wasteful move. My McDonald’s near me manually refills for you and throws away your cup to give you a NEW cup each time. By the time I leave I had had THREE cups thrown away compared to the ONE I would have had if there was a self serve.

That is a much dumber version of it, but the button game has shown that women and children are much more predisposed to pushing the blue button so it’s a lot more complicated than that Is it stupid? Are they stupid for pushing it? Maybe, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s still the correct decision to push the blue button and save the stupid people from themselves, because included in those stupid people are an exorbitant amount of women and children.

1.5 million Californians just signed a petition to tax the state's 200 billionaires 5%.. one time.. to fund hospitals, schools and food programs.. they needed 875,000 signatures.. they got nearly double.. and California's own governor is fighting against it.. the billionaires live in the same state where hospitals are closing and people can't afford groceries.. and the one person who's supposed to represent the people just told the New York Times he's fighting to protect them.. 1.5 million signatures and it still might not matter.. because the people who write the checks aren't the ones who sign the petitions
Pop Base@PopBase

A petition for the California billionaire tax, which would implement a one-time 5% tax on the state's 200 billionaires to fund healthcare programs, has received 1.5 million signatures — which could help it qualify for the November ballot. Gavin Newsom shared that he was fighting against this amendment in a previous interview with The New York Times.

@TukiFromKL a 5% tax on what? Liquid assets not held under a company of fund? Imaginary valuation? Selena Gomez would have to come up with $60,000,000.00 cash.

@TukiFromKL This is beyond stupid. Why would a "one time" tax be used to fund continuing operations. A "one time" tax might make sense to build a bridge, or high speed rail, or some other one-time infrastructure. But, if you want to fund continuing operations, you continual funding.
