🚨 INTERNET SHOCKED AS RUSSELL CROWE TURNS INTO A WATCH VLOGGER — FLEXES SAUDI DESERT SAND TIMEPIECE
Yes… that Russell Crowe.
The Oscar winning Gladiator just casually hopped on camera breaking down his personal collection from Italian microbrand Giuliano Mazzuoli - explaining rally car inspired dials, air pressure gauge designs, and even a crown shaped like a gear stick.
Very niche. Very watch nerd coded.
Then he drops the bomb:
A commissioned, never-released piece with a case made from compressed sand taken from the Empty Quarter in Saudi Arabia.
Not a retail drop.
Not available to the public.
He even admits he had to convince the designer to sell it to him.
Hollywood A-lister… casually geeking out over motorsport engineering… and flexing a desert sand one-off nobody else can buy.
Since when is Russell Crowe a watch guy, and how much do you think that piece would actually go for at auction?

yes. try to get front row, doesn't matter nearly as much where other than center, but lower section is better. I was 3rd row center but had people in front of me on the rail taking video/photo constantly and it was distracting. pay for the VIP entrance. I was there right before F1 and they had amazing setups in the waiting areas.

When my buddy @JimBreuer had the balls to do this comedy bit during the lockdowns, I believe it was the funniest, and most important comedy in the past 20 years! Jim is the MAN✔️
English

at the mother ship there are signs all over about the audience NOT heckling... so what happens when the comic engages you or brings you into the act? But if you, a professional comic, pull me into the stage, don't I have the right, if not the good sense :-) , to push back? What are the rules?

RIP Scott Adams
Scott will be missed by a large and wide audience. He was overlooked for his incredible work ethic and was one of the hardest working guys I ever got to know. This went largely unnoticed. When he was at PacTel he was the first person who showed me the Web in 1993. He thought it would be important,

@ScottAdamsSays sir you were more than useful. you enlightened and delighted many. God will surely bless you.

Happy 30th anniversary to Ruby, the language that made @Rails possible, and continues to inspire developers and contributors around the world. #rubyrelease30th #Ruby4

@philchadwick64 @NTSB_Newsroom the initial pull up then the back bolt broke. just a guess. the centrifugal forces of the spinning engine make it want to stay moving in the same direction (up), when the bolt broke it just kept going instead of transferring the lifting force to the wing.

If you’re a junior or an intermediate Ruby on Rails developer, one of the best things you can do for your career is to go through the Full Stack Ruby on Rails curriculum from the Odin Project. It covers almost everything you need to know as a developer: Ruby, HTML & CSS, Databases, Rails, JavaScript, React and even a meta course on how to get hired.
Practice for 1-2 hours every day and in a couple of months, you’ll be amazed at how much you’ve learned and how good you’ve become as a developer. And it’s completely free, no need to even create an account. You’ll thank me later.

Less than 30 minutes until Episode 1.
@RadioAmanda warned me before our first interview:
"Daniel doesn't cry. Don't even try."
I wasn't there to make him cry.
I was there to bring him back to the summer of 2024...the moment that ended a decade-long drought.
We think we spot something in @RealKidPoker's eyes in the opening scene. You be the judge.
@scott_seiver said something during filming I loved and thought about a lot since.
"How do you not feel romantic about poker?"
Watch his story. You'll understand exactly what he means.
@krissyb24poker's story is one of my favorites because she'd never told it like this before on camera.
We wanted her to take us from the first day of the Main Event to what happened after the cameras left.
The rise. The hand. The fallout.
You can see it still causes her pain. But that's what separates all great athletes and performers in their craft. They won't sleep until they get what they're fighting for.
I had her story in mind before we even asked her to join the cast. I wanted to tell it the same way all the best sports docs do it. Her words weaved in sync with the footage of her Main Event run, accompanied by a music track that feels like the moments we are experiencing on the screen.
Everyone has a favorite athlete with a similar journey. This is Kristen's.
@FarazJaka is redefining what legacy means, as seen through his support of his student @MichaelDwyer64, (who is about to play the most significant buy-in of his life), all while building a thriving business and still crushing as a player himself.
This is Episode 1 of NO LIMIT.

I want to sell bricks.
I own bricks.com
I reached to all bricks mfgs in the USA.
None called back.
What should I do different?

Would be much easier to convince people to use your product if your website would be usable. It's awesome for award participation (and very cute) but when CTO needs to make a decision and have a list of competitors, you are not the obvious choice, as to understand what is the product you offer requires effort
English

@LundukeJournal Atwood has been an asshole from the start, you probably know this. he did good projects but has an ego the size of TEXAS and FLORIDA combined. and I encourage people to stay the fuck out of Florida. We are full... keep driving.
English

It’s interesting watching as the Extreme Leftists within the Computer Industry push harder for Civil War within the USA (or at least breaking up the states).
Along those lines: There is a recurring (and accelerating) theme of political activists within Open Source pressuring (and bullying) conference organizers to stay away from “Red States” like Texas and Florida.
Here is the founder of @StackOverflow and @discourse (@codinghorror) earlier today:
“I ain't going ANYWHERE near Texas in 2026, because I'm honestly not sure it'll still be part of the Union by then.”

English

@Timcast too late... already wasted that time... no wonder they have been marketing it to death on Joe Rogan and other podcasts. it is a joke and a pos that doesn't make you think more than WTF at the end... spoiler alert - it has no ending.
