Had a great time speaking at the @TAXIMusic Road Rally 2025 convention yesterday about “The Business of music - everything but the notes.” Thank you to TAXI CEO Michael Laskow for inviting me to participate.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! As many as 29 STATES may have their laws overturned after the Supreme Court indicated they will rule against allowing mail-in ballots to come in after Election Day This would be huge, and could be a 6-3 ruling 🔥 JUSTICE ALITO: "Independence DAY, birthDAY, and Election DAY. They are all particular DAYS. So if we start with that, if I have nothing more to look at than the phrase 'Election Day,' I think this is the DAY in which everything is going to take place." 🫳🎤

@RdSull @EricLDaugh False. I went through all of that. SCOTUS already decided. It is not a poll tax. Asked and answered.

@brianralston @EricLDaugh Read the bill. Thats not what the bill is about nor are they simply asking for an ID. As a matter of fact, dems put a bill forward that asked for ID and repugnantcans voted in down. It is a voter suppression bill that results in a poll poll tax.

@Scott_Wiener 1. Bianco is a duly elected law enforcement officer of the state of California. 2. CA judge Jay Kiel signed off on his ballot seizure as evidence. 3. Just this evening a CA state court DENIED Rob Bonta’s request. This you? Might want to sit this one out. 🤡

@maziehirono There would still be “some” provisions for “some” people to vote by mail for legit reasons. Not just because you feel like it. Stop lying.

The lawsuit alleged the pathological lying Swalwell primarily resides in Washington, D.C. not in California as he claims. He owns no real eastate property in the state of California. He has no rental or lease agreements in the state of California…… so how can he be a resident of the state of California?

We cannot normalize ICE inserting itself into our daily lives. Here is a reminder: ICE agents do not belong at airports. ICE agents do not belong at polling stations. ICE agents do not belong undermining our rights and hurting our communities.

@GavinNewsom False take. Iran banking sanctions are still in place and the Iran oil already at sea in tankers there eases oil markets for the 30 day grace period. You don’t even know what you are doing…much less talking about. You would be about as bad a chief executive as Harris.

There are quite a few. But maybe this one is of interest. Article II, Section 1, Clause 4 “The Congress may determine the Time of chusing [choosing] the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.” Also while the original Constitution left voter qualifications largely to states, later amendments imposed clear nationwide prohibitions that states cannot violate in any federal election (or, in some cases, state elections too). 15th Amendment, 14th Amendment, sectikn 2, 19th Amendment, 24th Amendment, 26th Amendment,

@NYCMayor Federal ICE officers belong wherever POTUS sends them to do federal law enforcement. If that is temporarily helping out another federal agency with some additional “manpower”, then that is what it is.

False. SCOTUS already decided in 2008 that requiring gov’t ID to prove identity to vote in an election was a “reasonable” requirement and not a poll tax and did not disenfranchise voters despite its cost and time requirements to obtain. For example. Another constitutional right comparison. If various gun laws (license, fees, restrictions) are reasonable and do not, despite 2nd amendment constitutional protections, violate constitutional rights there, voter protection laws and requirements can also be enacted and do not necessarily violate constitutional voter rights either. It is already illegal to vote if one is a non-citizen. One might argue non-citizens have some constitutional rights afforded to them (due process) regardless of citizenship status but voting is not one of them. So there are already some constitutional citizenship restrictions around voting. Reasonable laws about enforcement and proving citizenship status are not automatically a violation of one’s voting rights. They are simply reasonable laws requiring proof of an already enacted requirement around voter eligibility. At the end of the day…SCOTUS can not decide until there is a law and then a case challenging that law that comes by their docket. This is all designed to do just that. They know someone will sue over it once enacted. And I firmly believe this SCOTUS will most likely decide in the affirmative on both federal voter ID and a citizenship status proof to register.

There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud in our country—period. That’s why today’s case on mail-in ballots being heard in front of SCOTUS is just another thinly veiled attempt by Trump and his allies to further rig the election. Mail-in ballots are used by our military overseas, our seniors, and disabled folks and others who may not be able to make it to the ballot box. Banning mail-in ballots from counting in elections is just another attempt to disenfranchise more voters.
