@NeowinFeed 🐂💩, utter 🐂💩. Literally every modern OS does this. This writer has no idea how underlying operating systems work and is making a judgment without any experience or knowledge therein. macOS does this, Linux does this, even mobile operating systems do that.

I’m 44, and I know becoming a mom at this stage of life won’t be easy… but I’m hoping that by this time next year, I’ll be celebrating Mother’s Day as a mother myself. Who’s rooting for me?

@Plenum0z Did you read the article? We blamed ourselves, but also want accountability from our infra provider: No scoped tokens. Backups that are not backups, but really snapshots (total fake marketing). Delete volumes via curl? (that is insane)

That one can excuse or ignore this while claiming to be “pro-life” is a sign of a seared conscience. God have mercy on us all.

@sSchlotz24 @AnnChildersMD @Coinvo Name-calling is the last resort of the feebleminded. By the way, since Kirk wasn’t a politician he wasn’t assassinated, he was murdered. Look up the definition. Your cult leader was excited when Mueller died & was also thrilled when Biden was diagnosed w/ cancer - hypocrite.

Get over yourself, narcissist. I’m targeting the scum who would celebrate the thought of our president dying. Which are predominantly democrats. The same people who cheer for a young man being assassinated. The same people who had a van outside their convention performing abortions on demand. If these are your people, then own it, “Ms. Independent.”

BREAKING NEWS: Microsoft just confirmed MAJOR plans that will address Windows 11's biggest problems, with the company moving to reduce ads and AI across the system, improve system performance, and restoring the ability to move the Taskbar! Microsoft says that over the course of this year, users will see changes made to the OS that are designed to make Windows 11 more user friendly and faster to use. It's working to reduce overall system load so that the OS runs better on limited memory, updating more system interfaces with WinUI, and giving users more control over Windows Update, including letting users postpone updates for longer. The company also says it's moving to reduce ads and Copilot in areas like Start, Notepad, Photos, Widgets, and more, after listening to feedback from users. All of these changes are designed to rebuilt trust with users and position Windows as a platform that people want to use over macOS and Linux. Improvements to WSL, File Explorer, Windows Search, and much more also on the way. All the details are in the link in the post below!

@rachid_rahmoune @WindowsCentral Works fantastic on multiple different Samsung Pro SSDs across multiple Dell laptops & T2 Pro Max systems. Almost certainly has to do with the drive. Pretty sure MS assumes servers won’t use consumer drives which is why it’s available on Server by default.

@WindowsCentral They probably disabled it for a reason. Tried it on my system, the 970 Evo Plus started behaving a bit weird, disabling it made the system stable again.

"Microsoft shuts down another Windows 11 registry hack that allowed native NVMe SSD support." According to those who had managed to enable the nvmedisk.sys driver on their PCs, it significantly improved performance of approximately 10% to 15%, citing lower latency and higher transfer speeds. Now, Insider builds have to dig around with a third-party app to find it. [1/2]

.@Allegiant, the airline you take you don’t need to be somewhere on time, OR at all for that matter. How the @FAANews tolerates how they mistreat customers is unimaginable.

@green_eye_haver @Camel_Crushin You actually couldn’t be more wrong. The only people who say things like that are lousy drivers. Roundabouts dramatically improve traffic flow, reduce fuel consumption, reduce wear-&-tear, & reduce accidents. Extensive traffic studies have proven this worldwide. Learn to drive.

@Camel_Crushin @Yogawithruth Who is we? It’s certainly not most Americans. My girlfriend is Romanian and I spend a significant amount of time in Europe driving, and most Americans have a problem with a single lane roundabout at 15 mph, wait until they see a multi lane roundabout at 50 or 60 KPH.
