Common stereotypes about people from favelas (Brazil): • Criminals / involved in drug trafficking / gang members • Violent / dangerous / aggressive • Poor / lazy / unemployed • Uneducated / ignorant • Dirty / unhygienic / live in squalor • Involved in crime by nature / “born bad” • Overly sexual / women have many unplanned children • Inferior (often tied to race/class stigma) • Lawless / no morals / “not gente” (not proper people) These come mainly from media (City of God, news) and are heavily criticized as oversimplified and harmful. Reality shows vibrant communities, hard work, culture, and resilience. If enough people say it they believe it.

Regarding respect, we never interacted, don't even know if you've seen what I did and what I do, have no idea if you respected me or if you don't - so that's also fine by me. I'll consider everything on the contrary if given examples of the opposite of what I said, other getting replies from different people on multiple different points I made there hasn't been a single example, explanation of why I'm wrong. Last part wasn't disregarding at all, I'm just a firm believer in what I see until I change my opinion, on my own or because someone made me see/think differently. And other than "no you're wrong" i haven't seen anything. This guy is legit insane. Cherki levels of ball control, looks extremely spatially aware with incredible feeling for the game, strong with both feet, nimble anddynamic and decision making is crazy. Every decision he made here is elite, I'm blown away. Slightly small but he makes up for it by having insane ball manipulation and no angle biases. Impressive performance

It doesn't discredit everything you write, but it raises Q marks.

Something else to consider for anyone using “remember where came from” in defence of Rohl - if Celtic win tonight we go to 3rd. When he took over we were only 2 points off 3rd anyway. There was an improvement from Martin, but it’s not as dramatic an improvement as some say it is

@joe_cooman As I’ve said to a few others, Hearts record after 8 games would have had them on 104 points if they maintained it for a full season. It was NEVER going to happen, they were always going to normalise their results. Closing that gap to 6 means nothing to me.

He did better than Martin (not a flex), and benefited from a Celtic capitulation - but hasn't even been good enough to maintain that position. There's a debate.

Is there an argument to Danny Rohl not being kept as manager? Right now, absolutely not. He dragged us back into a title race when the season was written off, got guys like Danilo, Rothwell, Dowell and Nsiala out that were never going to succeed here and replaced them with better players. He’s made some mistakes, but it feels like people have forgotten he was overlooked for Russell Martin in the summer and then third choice behind Gerrard and Muscat before getting the job so always had a point to prove. If we don’t win the Scottish cup, and then came 3rd/4th in the league.. maybe that becomes a discussion, but any talk of it right now is utter madness.

@NotAndyFirth I understand the sentiment, and I'm very very angry. Motherwell, Hibs and yesterday are boiling point anger for me. I think he deserves the initial 3-6 months of next season. There's been good progress we can't ignore - the progress deserves an opportunity.
