@nianalfanboy @CreationEnt I know it's not guaranteed attendance, been to many conventions. My point was I had to change my schedule so much to go to Austin in the first place, because we were told he wouldn't be in Nashville, just for all the scheduling to mean nothing. I'm allowed to be upset about it.

@BrittanyWaldrep @CreationEnt going to a con is never guaranteed for guests even if you buy for a certain guest you won’t get refunded entry tickets it’s on the faq’s for most conventions .

Hi! Just wanted to address this here.
Oliver had been unable to make Nashville but he had been trying to change his schedule, so we took the video in case he was able to make it.
We didn't find out until very recently that he was able to make it, and with the holiday weekend, we announced as soon as we could today!

you wanna know what would actually be messed up?
selling tickets for a guest that may or may not make it. having people make plans (hotels, rentals, airplane tickets) that are often not refundable for a maybe.

@CreationEnt You realize how screwed up that is? I literally live in Nashville. And decided not to go to the Nashville event, because Oliver wouldn’t be there. And now I’ve had to make plans for an event that is clashing with my job. Just to find out, I could’ve gone to one at home.

@JessHawden @buddiesendgame I've never liked the last minute guest changes. While I understand them because schedules do change and things happen, knowing that Oliver had been talking about it for weeks and it's just announced is the part that PMO.

I could’ve gone with my friend to a separate event to celebrate her birthday had it been announced sooner. Because we both planned around that trip for Austin

@lonelyisthebuck @CreationEnt But it’s not the ‘it’s a little farther from home’ part that bothers me. It’s the hotel costs, the flight cost and just inconvenience of it. When I could’ve used that extra money to go to another event that I had been planning for months with my friends for her birthday.

@lovingbuckley @CreationEnt I chose Austin because I wanted Oliver/Ryan. And out of all the other events they attended together it was the only one I could attend. But it would’ve been easier for me to attend something at home where I didn’t have to miss out on other things or my job during peak season.

It became too much of a mix and match. choosing one over another then the ppl they wanted are at a diff one they didn’t know about. Next: rookie only at one 911 only at one, One Chicago at one etc.
