AppleCare is useless. For what it costs, you might as well not have it. I had insurance on a pair of Beats (owned by Apple). When I went in to get them fixed, I was told they don’t handle that. I returned to the same place a few weeks later and was told the insurance had expired two days earlier, so they refused to fix them for free. That was the moment I decided I would never pay for Apple insurance again.

imo @apple abusing the home screen badge icon on the Settings app (with no way to dismiss it) to get you to sign up for Apple Care is user hostile AF shameful behavior
