The boys are actively creating the virus, it makes sense with him knowing that, to look for V1, every second of everyday for every hour.

The Boys spent 4 seasons trying to figure out how to capture and kill Homelander and you’re telling me the entire time Malchemical could knock him out effortlessly? And Kripke made it a cameo character? Some random movie star sex addict could have ended the show in s1.
